Stus1171
I play a good friend frequently at MVP and I am constantly frustrated by him. He doesn't own the game or a PS2, but still finds a way to demolish my pitching. I do great against the CPU (playing All-star difficulty), but still can't seem to beat him consistently. We do not play with the pitch crusor on. Part of me feels like it is luck, but then again he rapes my pitching time after time. So my real question is: What are some good tips for pitching/general in multiplayer mode?
kabiff123
dont always throw strikes. mix up your pitches. maybe throw pitches just outside or just in the strike zone. if you get him down 0-2, 1-2, dont always throw the same out pitch. maybe sometimes its a fastball up and out of the zone, other times it could b a low split or curve. also, if u like to go out of the strike zone when you're ahead, occasionally fire a strike in those counts to throw your friend off guard. its all about keeping him guessing. hope this helps

The biggest thorn in my side has been Manny Ramirez. I didn't mention that he uses the Bo Sox. I use the Rangers. Updated rosters for both teams. Stus1171
Well, I'm still sucking. We played the other night (All-Star difficulty) and he threw a no hitter. I held him to a four hitter, but one of those was a homer. Any suggestions?
