I usually play the game with all 5 starters when I start the season. After that I usually play 1 sim 2. Unless there is an interesting pitching matchup or we are on some kind of streak.

I try to play as many MLB games as possible but I never touch the AAA-AA-A games. Of course boring pitching matchups go simmed. I don't like managing too much though, it's pretty random on what happens.

I sim about 60-70% of the time, usually play 1 sim 2, and sim all the minor league games. Only exceptions are when I faced Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling. However, I am almost guarenteed to play all of Wang's games^^

I generally play at least the first 5 games of any year so that I can get a feel for all of the guys in my rotation. After that I tend to play one game out of every series most of the time, doing my best to make sure that I'm not always using the same pitcher. I also play interesting or important matchups, and minor league games whenever I feel like seeing how my prospects are doing.

I play all the ML games and at least 50% of the minor league games. I play every single one of the playoff games - majors and minors. I just feel that playing all the games provides me with the best outcome. Another thing is that I never restart a game after I have begun playing. It just completely takes away the fun if one restarts a game because he/she doesn't like the outcome.

Usually with minor league games, I tend to choose about 2 pitchers from each level (AAA and AA) and I tend to play every single game they are scheduled to start.
