adonis2109
I was in the supermarket this morning and saw this and could not believe my eyes. LOL!!! I like it, but J-Lo hooking up with a relatively unknown AAA pitcher? Anna Nicole I can maybe see but J-Lo?!?!?!

adonis2109
Hey that's why they call her J-Ho HOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRAIN! ALL ABORT! HA! J-Ho. But back to baseball, I think a slider is good too. Being a naturally powerful pitcher, he would have a speedier breaking ball.

turma
It's been a slowly progressing dynasty, and now I have to freeze it for a week or two more, I'm working every day so ain't got much time for dynasties, but look out for more updates after a while. YankeesForever
Wow! You got me hooked. Your dynasty kind of reminds of Derek Jeter's "The Life You Imagine" book. This also remids me of a baseball game (not MVP) where you get called up by the manager. A gem of a thread. Keep this up!
GEOLINK
Im enjoying reading this, but you need to continue it. It seems pretty boring in here.

YankeesForever
The game is called MLB '06: The Show, for PSP & PS2. Wish it could be for the computer, too. I think [what I'm talking about] is called Career Mode, except with this you interact with the manager, (and HE calls you up, NOT YOU during/after Spring Training, thus, you have to make the team) and can get dumped from your own team (if you talk too much, or ask for too many raises). The prices are a little high, and annoying wait times are the only issues here. I wonder how you guys would compare it to MVP...

turma
Sacramento River Cats at Las Vegas 51s : 6-2 - Boxscore Sacramento River Cats at Las Vegas 51s : 4-6 - Boxscore Rivercats loose in 15th Game ends to 51s home run Sacramento River Cats at Las Vegas 51s : 2-3 - (No boxscore available. I got a phone call just when I finished the game and by habit clicked continue before saving the box scores, it pretty much ruined the recap since I have nothing to base it on) We were up 2-0 in the 7th when I was called in and were doing really well, Putnam hit a solo homer, he was excited about that. I did great for two innings, striking out three of the six batters I faced, among of them was Ricky Ledee. But then in the 9th our closer messed things up, let them tie the game. The game really stretched far, and we lost, someone hit a homer, I don't remember who. I saw it coming. We have been discussing things with out coach and I might have a chance at becoming our closer. It's not certain yet but I think I would be a good closer plus our current one hasn't performed well.
abc006
pretty good, it's a cliffhanger. However, him pitching a complete game in the minors is pretty unlikely, because they're on pitch counts. Also, to make it more realistic, when you've got a 100 heater, you usually don't develop good control until later. That could be an issue in the storyline, "the kid's got great raw stuff, but he can't control most of it".

Well at this time his fastball is the only pitch he can throw accurately, his other stuff is pretty crappy at this point. Right now I'm throwing only fastballs and cutters, occasionally change ups but his curveball is uncontrollable

Kind of like Tom Gordon or K-Rod.

Guest
K-Rod does. Its an overhand curve. He also mixes in a slider that just drops.
