Hey man, I've been enjoying the updates, thank you so much, but also looking at pictures. It kinda looks like you have the fence, along the outfield, going too high. I think it only comes as high as the 3 on the 355 marker. I'm only bringing it up because u said you'll wait till it's perfect to release the final version, and i agree with ss, it doesn't matter how long it takes if it's right. Keep up the good work bro.

P.S. I'm still trying to find a picture of that Zambrano Motorola O ROKR ad for the backstop.

I really wanted to change that fence but the problem is, I cant find the model for it because it is not in the mstadium.o

that would be great if you could find that O ROKR ad, I actually tried looking on the Venezuelan Motorola site.

Finally got to play a day home game tonite and i really like what you have done, great work so far! Any progress or updates?

glad to hear you're enjoying it!

I've kinda put Wrigley on the back burner for now, but I have made a little progress. I'm almost done revamping the LF rooftops and I then need to make a view cosmetic changes (foul poles, rooftop bleachers, trees, concourse, and a few others). Hopefully within the next week or two, I can finalize the day version and start converting it to the night version.

Try the alphablend.o file...

Alphablend is the only way you can get semi-transparent objects into the game. I haven't taken a look at Wrigley lately, but you should be able to pull an unimportant section off, then put in a semi-transparent alpha file, so it will work.

What I typically do for stadiums that don't have anything natively in alphablend is import fenway classic's, since they have a couple of good, long alpha parts. It takes some futzing, but it helps out.

Take a look at my KC Municipal Stadium or Candlestick from TC6 or '67, since I have a semi-transparent fence in there.

thanks Sean O, I could never figure out why I couldn't make things semi-transparent in the cram32.fsh file. They'd always show up either completely transparent or opaque. The only thing Wrigley has in its alphablend file are a couple of fences.

If memory serves me correctly from Wrigley, the fence above the bleachers is an alphablend, and it's entirely possible you can futz with that to move a part somewhere else. If for whatever reason the alphablend only has one or two parts that are easily replaced, you can always import fenway's alphablend, since that has a good 8 or so good parts.

Then all you need to do is re-do the original alphablend's locations, and use the other 6 or so parts to do your new work.

SeanO, I have a couple of questions with the alphablend files: I want to make something partially transparent. So can I take an alphablend file from another stadium, import the parts I need to remain in place into the new alphablend.o, leaving a few parts still unused?

What do you have planned for the city behind the left field wall?

I'm fixing some of the buildings. EA put in some buildings that haven't been there in 20 years. If you look down Waveland, there are a couple of houses. Those have been replaced by larger buildings with rooftop seating. Also, EA used low-quality textures on some of the buildings. I'm replacing them with high-res photos. I'm also re-arranging some walls and trees.

I have a lot of work to do, but there should be a very noticable improvement.

btw, SeanO I figured everything out.

What would it take for you to do an accurate Shea mod? Please do Shea next!

I have a list and here is the order:

1)finish wrigley

2)kingdome

3)cinergy field (playing field completely surrounded by seats, instead of EA's crappy GAB construction version)

after that, I'd be happy to give Shea a look

By that time Shea will be demolished :)

yea, NYM, by the time I get to it, you might want me to work on Citi Field instead of Shea

I'm sure that plenty of people will be willing to do Citifield and the Yankees' new stadium... Now who will do Washington's Public-Funded Field? Will MVPmods exist by then?
