TribeFan4Eva
That this game is so important to so many other people besides me. Pardon me for sounding cheesy, but when I found this site I was amazed. Even though I play the PS2 version more than PC, I still think its amazing that at any given moment there are a substantial amount of people on this site talking about this game. When I picked this game up from Walmart last year, I knew there was something special about it. Being a diehard baseball fan, I love realism. This game gave me so much realism even before I decided to touch the sliders. And now that I've gotten some excellent sliders, this game is THE BEST GAME EVER MADE IN MY OPINION! It plays so smooth and has such a good engine. The graphics are amazing, the animations are never ending. I still see new stuff every-time I play. I love trying to come back from a deficit in the 9th inning and coming up with big hits. I love big strike outs with the bases loaded. I love tweaking my line-up to give certain players rest in my dynasty and trying to match-up against the opposing pitcher. The thing I like the most is that this game is still the best baseball game ever made. 2K and Sega tried hard, but they don't compare. I love how people constantly update and mod this game to keep it fresh and brand new. I HOPE this continues for the next few years until we may see another MVP. If rosters are continually updated, I will play this game until it's impossible to play anymore. I love using the analog stick to determine where I want to hit the ball. "I live for this." Thanks to everyone who helps make this game great. This truly is the best representation of real baseball you can get in a video game. As a life-long diehard baseball fan, I couldn't of asked for anything more.....

TribeFan4Eva
Very nice comment. What sliders do you use for the Ps2 one because I wanted to change mine? Don't know if I'm allowed to post this here but here they are: These are credited to Dowie from Operation Sports w/ some variations from me: All-Star meter -37 speed -10 ball 5 u fat 5 cpu fat 17 u cont -50 cpu cont -25 bpr 50 bpg -40 ubc 25 cbc 35 ubp 40 cbp15 u bunt 25 c bunt 25 u foul 50 cpu foul 50 cpu swg -15 u of spd -17 cpu of spd -17 u if spd -15 cpu if spd -15 u thr spd -10 cpu thr spd -10 u thr acc -2 cpu thr acc -2 u error 30 cpu error 30 u dive -25 c catch -5 u br spd -2 cpu br spd -2 u agg 10 cpu agg 6 u stl spd -8 cpu stl -8 user stl dly 2 cpu stl dly 2 cpu stl rate 35 all injuries -5 other hitting options user 15/25 cpu 30/15 or user 15/40 cpu 40/25 these sliders play real well off each other. This means that if you change one slider it might affect the way another slider works. For instance if you change the Steal Delay then you must change Throw Speed b/c the throw speed from the catcher may not work right with the new Steal Delay #. i know it sounds confusing but thats just an example. these are also intended for a dynasty and not exibition. i've been using this guys sliders for awhile and have had some of the best games ever with them. 25/40 seems high for user hitting but for some reason its not. it plays well off each other. You would think hitting is too easy but its not because all the other sliders offset it... give these a try for like 5-6 games in your dynasty and post back... also, these are meant for realism sim style, not arcade.....like you have to mix up your pitches, waste pitches, be patient at the plate and wait for hitters counts, pick your spots to steal, and make quick decisions in the field... good luck!
