Bhay99 Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 it seems im always late on the fastball...and it's not that i suck because i played this game on ps2 for a year and a half. if a guy is throwing 95-99 mph i have no chance to even make contact and on pitches 90-94 i have to practically swing right when the ball is released or im way late...anyone else have this problem? I can hit it most of the time but you have to time your swing just right even if you do hit it.. you'll likely just foul it off or hit a weak grounder/popup if you just miss. nanner Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 I'm the opposite too. I find if I make contact on a hard 95+ fastball, it's going to be hit hard everytime. I have trouble hitting finesse pitcher's like Moyer sometimes, but when I face guys like Josh Beckett or Brad Lidge, I light them up. It's almost unbearable because the ball gets hit hard everytime I make contact on something with heat.
