Dynasty vs. Owner... and keeping team chemistry

This post is twofold. I've played the game since a week after it was originally released and love it. The gameplay is terrific, and the new mods addedd to it have made it even better. But my problem is that I just can't keep a continuous Dynasty or Owner mode going. I think my longest was three seasons with an Angels Fantasy Draft team. I just get bored half way through, wish i had different players then re-fantasy draft again.

Now my first question is, what do you guys prefer, owner or dynasty mode, and how do you keep your attention to the game, throughout multiple seasons.

Question two, I prefer Fantasy Draft mode and I always try to build a team of young players. However, a year into it, the pitchers salary's sky rocket and the position players only want marginal increases. How do you draft a fantasy team when you start a new dynasty or owner mode? Do you take some vets mixed with some youngsters... or some high salary guys mixed with low salary guys?? It makes it tough that you don't know what type of coontract the guy has (Indispensible, Everyday, Backup, etc) until he is already on your team (without using an editor).

I like both options, Dynasty as well as Owner Mode. In my Dynasty, I'm trying to be up-to-date in terms of games, trades etc. I really enjoy playing it that way, but sometimes it can be a bit frustrating because unless the "real" Jays do, I can't get new players either, even if I wish to. That's why I also like playing Owner Mode (with a fantasy draft). I'm constantly trading players, trying to find the perfect team. Overall, I like Owner Mode better, especially because it allows my created alter ego to be a part of the game.

i like dynasty as making money in owner mode is too hard and when i use the artmoney program i feel like im cheating and that all work is wasted.

for a fantasy draft, i draft tough positions first like second base and center field but starting with an ace. i usually draft best players but if i there is a younger player in range of what i need i usually pick him
