i have a problem with mvpedit and .dat exporter and importer

i want to export files from existing owner to mvpedit for updating and changing audio id something and is not working as in mvpedit, the error message shows: "run-time '3021'. no current record" i tested new dynasty and new owner (all same exact roster UR 7.2) to see if mvpedit or other and it is working...

i searched .dat exporter and importer thread and found out that it is no longer supported by tywiggins. so do any of you have experienced with that and able solve?

thanks

and you said directly edit the portrait number in your attrib.dat file. how can i open it since i am playing 11 games in existing dynasty?

If you've already exported the files, just find the attrib.dat file that you exported, open it with notepad(or something like that), edit, save, then import back to memory.

for example 11 playerattrib_face2004style

0 means face 04 and 1 means face 05 (i learned that from other thread) but i am not sure where i can find a list of xx playerattrib_xxx

I too get this error, but I do not know why, and apparently won't ever find out.

I have tried editing the files in notepad and reimporting them, but whenever I do that, MVP crashes on the very first pitch (right as I swing the bat) after I import.

Edit: I found out how to fix the crashing bit. I wasn't saving it before I was playing the game. Once I saved it, the game played just fine.

I wish I could get it to work in MVPedit, but still...I can deal with the files just fine...at least I can edit things after a dynasty starts!

Me neither, so I just havnt used the savgame reader until I know exactly what I have to do. When I was loading it, it stopped at manager offsets......., so whatever that means, it could be something with the managers, I guess. I am going to load up a clean version of rosters, and see if that will work. If it does, it might be that Sandy Alomar manager I made, might be the problem, so I shall see.
