Myztery
I'm also 16. I hadn't played since the age of 8, and I started again a couple years ago. Is it too late. No. But if you're very serious about it, you're going to have to be willing for it to take serious time and dedication to become good. I'd say go for it, and best of luck! Kccitystar
Before learning how to play baseball, it's always best to know the rules and principles of the game, and then you begin by playing a simple game of catch
kgbaseball
If you're just looking to play Little League for a couple years it's not too late, but if you really have aspirations to play in college and beyond, that'd be one hell of a hill to climb. MrOctober431
^Not really and kid from our school said he never played baseball before and he become the Ace of the varsity team. He's now going to play for Long Beach next year, I believe on a full scholarship, which is rare.
utahjazzno12fan
Not too late.... Depends on how much natural talent that you have and how much work you are willing to put into it.... Very few can start out at the age of 5 without a lot of natural talent and make it to college baseball, but if you are somewhat athletic and have the natural ability, all you have to do is put in a couple of hours each day. Don
You're still young. Give it a shot. You'll still be better than me.
mdewals
heck, I'm 26 and me and a friend of mine (also 26) want to pick up baseball. then again, he does have some highschool experience..... but, if you want to do it for fun, its never too late. if you want to become a future hall of famer....well, its still not too late if you're a natural ;)
NYM
I started baseball when I was 3 (tball) and quit all the way up until I was eleven, where I started playing again. I picked it up pretty quick. Thankfully I had coaches who knew what they were talking about. You're coach will help you out alot. As long as you have a good coach with patience, you'll be okay (unless you just flat out can't play). Heck, last year when a curveball was thrown to me, I would buckle up and just swing over it. My coach worked with me on it, and now im just fouling them off, setting me up for a fastball, or just poking them into left field.
kblavie
Let me say this I'm 13, and I already know there are two things you are never to young and never to old to do. 1: Hit on girls 2: Play baseball
