D-Unit
The Majority of MLB players wear either low socks or normal socks. A few wear them normal but I am doing this for the majority. I am trying to global edit the socks that are normal to low, but whenever I do that, it changes everyone's socks to low, including people with high socks. Why does it do this when the high socks have nothing to do with the global edit?
ebh0113
It works fine for me. Make sure you add socks=normal in the field criteria or it will change everybody's. Also make sure the modify criteria is on low.
D-Unit
i did that, but it still doesnt work. it always changes everyones socks to low instead of just people with normal socks.
MarkB
Maybe I'm too tired, but your first post doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Describe exactly what you want to change, (in "Normal to low, high to low" form, for example) and I can help you out.
ebh0113
I don't know, it works fine for me.
D-Unit
I put the default value as normal socks, and i entered the second value to be replaced by low socks. i didn't want it to change high socks to low (just normal) but it changed all socks to low. ebh0113
This may sound dumb but did you click ADD to add it to the area below it?
D-Unit
no, but i dont need to when i change the ages a year back in global edit, or when i global edit pitch velocities (just to clarify, my pitching sliders make all pitches go 2 mph faster than normal so i global edit them -2 to fix it). ebh0113
Well you need to for the socks, b/c it's only recognizing the modify part. It assumes you want to edit every player like that.
