I'm sure this happens to a lot of people other than me, but when vacation, whether it be Christmas, or Summer I get on one hell of a backwards time frame. I go to bed about two sometimes three o'clock in the morning, and end up waking up around one. When I turn around the day is done, and I feel like I have wasted it.

It hasn't been that bad this year, but lately I've been waking up 2PM and that's too late.

Once a year I always reverse this by staying up all night, and going to sleep the next day around 9 or 10 PM. I could just wake up early, but I just shut my alarm clock off.

Well tonights that night. I stocked up on arizona ice tea, (about 4 99$ cans, the extremely tall ones) and I'm pulling until 10PM tomorrow, or well today lol.

Although it's not the greatest thing to do physically, I hate waking up late, and this is the only way I can fix it.

Anyone else have this problem?

eh, i do the same thing... it eventually stops working. i did it once and got to 11pm the next night and went to lay down but didn't fall asleep until 4am and it took me three nights to get it right. i'll be here if you want company in a non-sexual manner. or sexual if the price is right ;)

5AM: Took a ten minute nap

10AM: head starting to ache. I want to shoot myself in the head for doing this.

I might just tak another ten minute nap around 11. After that I'm just gona drink water and eat something lite. I'm stayi noff the caffein.

FOLLOW ME AND JOIN ME AS I GO ON MY MARATHON TO BEAT TEENAGE INSOMINIA!!!!!!!!! or a bacwards scedule, whatever you want to call it.

I only have your problem when I'm sick. I am an early bird like my dad, I can get a good sleep by going to bed from midnight to 6 in the morning over and over again. my brothers sleep from midnight to noon, sometimes later lol.

iv stayed up 24 hours at least 11 times this year,i have currentyl not gone to sleep yet after waking up at 3:00 PM yesterday. I just wont drink Cofee thats what would really knock you out. As Long as you consume the Caffine you will stay awake but when your body is not used to the caffine anymore thats when you will crash. Ill just make myself a hamburger or sumtin.

Try staying up for 52 hours sometime. ;)

Current sleep count: 5 hours sleep in the last 47 hours. Off work until Saturday now, so sleep galore tomorrow. :D

NYM, I know where you are coming from. I cant seem to break the habit. I cant fall asleep, no matter how hard I try, until 2:00 in the morning and I sleep until 2:00 in the afternoon. school starts in a week, and I have a 10-page book report to do but I cant find time to do it because I sleep the whole day away...

heh 10 page book report. that's not that bad. for the right price i'll do it for you. it'll take me a couple hours to read the book and 2 hours to type the paper. (i keep bringing up money cause school also starts for me next week and $$$ is needed).

anyway, mark, what's the longest you ever stayed awake? i went 4 days for fun, but stopped when i started hallucinating on the fifth day.

52 hours, closely followed by another 24 or 25 awake after an hour or so's sleep.

Well I fell alseep at about 1PM yesterday, which screwed me up more.

I'm just gona have to start waking up at 10 and get into a rythem of waking up earlier.

from 4 PM one day i stayed awake until 8 PM the next day then fell asleep until 3 AM stayed up till 6 AM fell back asleep and for some reason when the Yankees Play a game at 1PM i tell myself to wake up at 1 for the yankee gam eand it seems to work oddly. You should try to do that. There could be some scientific thing to that if your aiming for a wake up time

Well join the football team and that will get your schedule right - It worked for me!! I go to bed by 12 or 1 each night and get up at like 7:30 - There is definatly no trouble falling asleep as you are just about dead every day after 3 sessions a day!!!!

Buy an alarm clock, and avoid buying redbull energy drinks or just energy drinks altogether during the evening. Avoid watching television or anything that stimulates the visual part of the brain an hour before sleeping.

punchout, did that last year, but practies weren't until 3PM.

Football camp set me straight, about a week before school at camp, up at 5AM every day, and you would go till 10PM. You didn't have much time to sleep so you did whenever you can.

I ordered an alarm clock online, and it should come soon. I broke my old one, because it beeped and I guess when I was sleeping I slammed it against the floor and broke it :-).

I'm putting my next one on the other side of the room. Well if you can call about five feet the other side.
