Shuka
Bear with me because this is my first post here Well my first question was answered, which was "Why do fastballs get hit so much even when they're high 90s/100+ high in the strike zone" thanks to this thread My second question is why does missing your spot hurt so bad? It seems like in real life pitchers with great stuff miss their spots all the time (Matt Cain for example) but still get good hitters to whiff at their pitches. A high and tight 97 MPH fastball is a high and tight 97 mile per hour fastball even if you meant to paint the outside corner. However, in MVP 2005 I've noticed that almost every time I miss my spot by quite a bit I get hit hard, even if its on a corner. Is there any way to fix this? I'd like to make it a bit more realistic. Also, in Dynasty mode it seems like all the pitchers velocities are steadily increasing.. when I started average fastball was probably 90 MPH but it seems like everyones throwing 100 now.. even my D-Train is throwing 100 its quite convenient since it seems like I can turn on them but is there a way to make it more realistic?
