There's a certain verison to DL, that runs MVP Baseball 2005, any1 know which 1?

Also DUnit, u saw the Yankees game 2day? Sweep!

I use 3D Analyze 2.0.

Yeah, I saw it. The whole thing, including the part where they put themselves in first place by 6 1/2 games! Unfortunately, it is all but over. There is still a month or so left, anything can happen. But it doesn't seem as likely with their bullpen now exposed.

Does anyone know how to use 3D-Analyze and what's a good setting??

I've tried searching in the forums and tried putting 10 for "countdown for disable rendering / disable state switches in seconds" and choosing mvp2005.exe for "EXE (select a EXE/BAT file!)" and i touched nothing else..

Is that rite

From the place I told you to look but you obviously didn't.

Gameplay is choppy and stutters/studders. How do I fix this?

First, make sure you're MVP 05 game has all the latest Official EA patches. Patch #3 had a fix that solved choppy gameplay issues for many users here. If that still doesn't work try the following steps:

1. Download 3d analyze v2.0, which you can get here

Note: You MUST use version 2.0. The others do not work for MVP.

2. Open the program, and select the mvp.exe (Default location is C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005), and look for Misc on the right side and where it says "countdown for disable rendering/disable state swiches in seconds" and input "0" in.

3. Run the game from 3d analyze.

4. In the in-game option menu, make sure helmet reflections are off. It wont work unless they are off.

Finally, here is a screenshot of what it should look like.

5. Now, back in 3d analyze, feel free to select other options to improve gameplay. There is an option to "remove stuttering/studdering" but some users found subsequent gameplay to be too fast. Experiemnt with different configurations to find what works best for you.

Ok hmm... I have been having the same problem too. But, my situation is different. I have this on a laptop, and when I get time to play MVP I usually want to play a couple games. So the first game is fine (I have good graphics) but at the end of the second game, anywhere from the 6th to the 9th inning depending on how long the first game was, the game gets choppy so I end up managing the end of it. The laptop is wide-screen if that has anything to do with it.

So will analyze 3d or whatever work for this situation? Also, I ama bit leary that this might mess up the computer. Is that a risk?

Thanks

I just installed this 3D Analyze thing. I went through the entire instructions and what not. I search the forums and copied this:

I turned off the helmet reflections. The graphics turned out great. The only problem is that the gameplay just got really really slow. And one time it crashed. Any soluttions?

lambowski, the crash is likely a problem in your models.big file, not 3d analyze... to solve your gameplay issue, try using the "removing stuttering" option. that sped up gameplay for me.

phillies, i dont think theres every been any report of this messing up your pc. Also, what is the ram on your laptop? I think that is likely the issue with your games slowing down. I know its a pain, but try rebooting after each game, or using a memory program to clear out your memory after each game.. laptops usually have low memory... long and short... if you followed the directions, 3d analyze shouldnt be causing that...
