USER STATS!

i would love to see user stats like you use to be able to do in the old nba live games. you type in a name or something (loaded profile) and they give you a bunch of stats and if you could save them and load them whenever you play so essentially after 50 games you can see your overall batting average runs scored era etc. i dunno if this can even be done but it would be great IMO.

they don't give much information at all. if i recall it's just like W-L and stuff like that. i was hoping it could be expanded where it keeps track of user batting average, homers, triples, doubles, rbis, runs, era, strikeouts, saves, runs allowed, all that good stuff

could you write an external program, like the box score extractors... that compile your personal stats? you specify which team you were in the game, and the program adds your games numbers to its file that has all your career stats in it?

they don't have it in the regular game. that's why i posted here. i was hoping you could select a user name and if you use the same one all the time it keeps track of all your stats. from homeruns to era to errors.

It would be cool, but it couldn't be added to the game. Since the game does not keep track of that information, it can't be modded. An external program might do it, but keep in mind the Box Score Extrator extracts data that the game keeps track of. Since the game does not save the information you're looking for, I don't think it can be done.
