UncleMo
Is this possible: 1.Changing a player that has a generic face, say, Jeremy Hermida, and giving hime someone else's player id? If so, what would happen when, let's say, you give him Manny Ramirez's player id so you could see Hermida do Manny's home run celebration? a. Would he even do Manny's homer celebration? b. Would Hermida be called Manny by the PA and in game announcers? 2. Have you ever tried to see if generic players you drafted were created with a player id? a. What does that player id comprise of, or, what is that player id used for? 3. Could you take a rookie you drafted and assign him another player's id to give him a particular home run celebration and what not? Not, for another example, there is a heckle the crowd chants when Chipper goes to Shae stadium: "LAAAAAA-RRRRRRRRRRRRY!" over and over. What if I drafted a rookie with the name of Larry as his first name and wanted to give him Chipper's player id so that whenever I played at Shae he could get jeered. Is that possible? Thanks, Mo. If so, what would happen when, let's say, you give him Manny Ramirez's player id so you could see Hermida do Manny's home run celebration? a. Would he even do Manny's homer celebration? Yes, as long as you changed his batting stance to be the same as Manny too. b. Would Hermida be called Manny by the PA and in game announcers? Yes 2. Have you ever tried to see if generic players you drafted were created with a player id? no they don't unfortuantely.. a. What does that player id comprise of, or, what is that player id used for? 3. You could try it using tywiggins .dat exporter and importer However I don't know what links the larry chant to Chipper whether it is cyberface id, photo/audio id, player name, internal game id, batting stance or a combination of some or all the above. I will test it out myself some time, it is a good question. Maybe one day we could even create a 'Lets go Steroids' chant for Giambi, Bonds etc :)
UncleMo
lol. Thank you so much for the ideas, though, re: face id, etc etc.
big shmooz
Giambi doesn't do steroids. He's a Yankee. (hence there is no need for it)
TheProdigy
can you assign a player a new chant?
Totte
can you assign a player a new chant? I don't think it's possible...
SwinginSoriano
Otherwise a 'Jose' chant would be nice for Reyes.
UncleMo
That question is what this whole thread is about anyway, nyj3tsrule. Pretty much re assigning everything is what I'm wanting to learn. I'd be happy if we could, but does not sound feasible.
