First of all before I even ask this question I just want to say that even with the AA and AAA teams being in MVP 04, the farm system still isn't good. I mean first of all, if your gonna add that feature, at least get the players accurate and not make up some fake player, really EA. Now to the question about Single A Teams..ok, simple..would you like Single A Teams in the next MVP Baseball? yes or no I mean I dont know about rookie teams for that MLB team, but..Single A..What you think?.

Single A is a waste of space.

I can't stand Double A.

Triple A i can tolerate.

maybe some college baseball teams so we can do the jump from College to AAA, or even if i had to tolerate it, then COLLEGE to AA. but definitely COLLEGE or OLD TIME TEAMS.

unless they have played at least one game at the major league level the mlbpa will not allow EA to use their real names.

it is not EA choice at all.

that said Yes I would like high & low A and high & low Rookie teams, but make it so the teams take care of themselves. I want to manage one team and be the GM. They need to work on the CPU not screwing up lineups and taking care of the day to day needs of the other teams

... I too would like the ability to have the lower levels manage themselves better. I don't usually have the time to mess with managing or playing more than one team at a time so I end up taking almost a whole week to get through one scheduled day. Mainly because I can't in good conscience let the stupid game sim it for me. Almost every game I've lost in Sim mode I know for sure that I could've at least made it close.

Anyways, yes, I'd like to at least have those teams available. It'd be pretty cool to have played Joe Mauer on my very own home town Ft. Myers Miracle before hit the bigs!

Don't forget about short season leagues and Indelpendent Leagues too

Also Winter Ball,Japanese, other overseas leagues,Mexican,Northern and other leagues out their

Next the version of NBALIVE will have Creat-a-stadium and all of Saturday's festivies of All-Star Weekend inclueded in the Dynasty Mode not just stand alone so this game need the Futures-Celebrity and Stars games and Home Run Derby part of the Dynasty Mode

Theirs got be a way to edit standings and stats because I would like to amke the standings as of today and then we contiune the season as of today and don't have to start a whole new season

RGLASS needs to undisable edit team name because then we can spell the whole team name because Fuzzstudio only allows use to spell have of the teams name,Double-a can be 25 man rosters because in the game we can add the 3 extra people to make the rosters 25 man and talk to the makers of the game to get a way so we can put players and pitchers on the injured

Would anybody like to make an Offseason program like the one that was made for High Heat Baseball but with some changes make it so theirs a Calender in it,can't sign free-agents intll 15 days after the World Series ends,Winter Weetings,Arbtration Hearings,Rule 5 Draft,Can't resign your own free-agents intill May if not signed in December,Declare to become a free-agent, Retirements and Unreitements,Hall of Fame annoucements,No College draft because it will have to be held in June and last 2 days,Coach Hirings and Firings and what els happens in the offseason

I'm with Fuzz on this one.

Double A and if there was a single A ... makes me waste time. I want scouts to do all the scouting for me and I don't want to have to care about the single A or double A teams.

Fack em.

Big Leagues and their international farm teams are enough for me

I WOuld like to see Single A teams also.....Really start from the beginning...Following a superstar from being a A reject, up til he reaches his first Post Season and Cy Young award or whatever.

another thing that could be fun to make the game more taxing would be the introduction of the Minor League Options rules...Thatd be cool for me...What do y'all think ?

There is a way to do that, no one cares enough to do it.

and what do you think? I did that sh!t on purpose? There's no way around it genius. And even if Rglass lets you edit team names in MVPEDIT like the way he did in previous versions(before he took the option out)..all that did was change the team name and abbreviation in boxscores.

Feeng.loc and igeeng.loc have to stay a certain size and the only way to do that is by changing the team names as they are available. You cant make add team names that are longer than the slot you are adding it in, because then the file would be bigggerr.

this is possible also but once again, no one cares to do that.especially the people that know how to do that.

you see the thing about this thread is, as it grows and as i read it, i begin to understand why EA does the things it does.

What appeals to you doesn't appeal to the vast majority and what appeals to me doesnt appeal to you. So when EA excludes certain things, they do it not because they didnt think about it, or it's a license problem or so on, it's because when people pick up the box and read what the game is all about: "Star studded SINGLE A GAMES! FOLLOW A SINGLE A BALL PLAYER TO THE RISE IN THE MAJORS! Grow a team's company! Adjust your future lineups! WINTER LEAGUES AND MEXICAN LEAGUES INCLUDED! OFF-SEASON CALENDAR WHERE YOU CAN BULLSH!T AT YOUR LEISURE!

they might put it back down and pick up all star baseball 2004 which reads:

-----------------------------------------

On-line capabilities, featuring downloadable roster updates.

History's greatest Negro League players such as Josh Gibson, Satchel Paige, and Buck O'Neil.

All-new legends teams featuring Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, & Ty Cobb.

Scenario mode where Derek Jeter introduces actual MLB footage to set-up in-game situations and recommendations.

Pick-up game mode that enables you to choose up sides with your favorite players in all new stadiums.

Panoramic Stadium Tour where Derek highlights all the interesting facts and features of each stadium.

Multimedia Section featuring live game footage of Jeter and other Major League stars.

All-new Rookie Mode where Derek will serve as a guide and instructor in the tutorial.

As you see, there's a formula to success or a general attraction to a vast majority. I doubt you'll ever see SINGLE A. We're lucky we even got TRIPLE A. LSU Baseball/college baseball is probably more popular than all of DOUBLE A and Single A combined.

Dont take anything isaid in the wrong way, it's just no one can ever be pleased entirely and while you type and think your idea is the best in the whole world, it's probably the best in your world.

I wouldn't mind a single A team but what I want is realism...I want to really be able to become a rookie...I want the cpu to deicide my faith...rather i'm ready to be called up..or if i need to be traded etc....and if I am trade i want to be able to take over the team i am traded too

Season Ticket and High Heat Baseball had Single-A teams but no Rookie Ball teams

If I knew how I would make that kind of program or somehow add the calender and League Date from Eastside Hockey Manager to solve the problem

I Try to rename the Houston Astros to the NL All-Stars and the Texas Rangers to the AL All-Stars and can't spell the whole word just part of it

If we want to change the Oakland A's to the San Jose A's or the Oakland A's to the 88 Oakland A's we should be allowed to without spelling just some of the word

Their should be a place like in the High Heat Editor or Season Ticket Baseball Editor where you can put how many days out for injure and when they are almost ready to come back you can send them on rehab

I don't know what EA is paying for the rights to use the minor league trademarks (probably a box of rocks), but I could forsee a scenario wherein the suits would decide it wasn't worth the extra cost (after paying MLB and the Player's Association their licensing fees), and canning the whole minor league system after one year.

Personally, I enjoy the player development side of things, and attend more minor league games than major league games each year, so I'd llike to see EA continue down the road they've started. However, only about 1 in 5 players at high-A ever see significant time in the majors, and probably 1 in 100 (or more) ever become stars. At least most double-A players at least get a cup of coffee at the big league level. I think there might be more sifting and sorting than the average gamer would tolerate if you went too low in the minors. It's not even close to being realistic if every other player at A-ball makes it to the majors.

Unlike basketball or football, college baseball functions at a lower level than the minors-most college players (certainly not all) need at least three years in the minor leagues before making it to the majors. The reason short-season leagues (lowest A level) start in June is so that players taken in the draft can play after graduation. The only three players in recent history to go directly from college to the majors are Dave Winfield, Jim Abbott and John Olerud. For this reason, as well as the fact that college programs can get HUGE licensing fees from their other sports, while the amount offered for baseball would be a pittance, I think it unlikely that EA would extend this game into the amateur ranks.
