thebrood78
What do you all do to keep an eye on your minor leagues. How do you know when to move a guy from A to AA and so on? Do you check stats all the time, read the recommendation of your scouts, etc.?? Are there certain players you start, certain players you sit?? Just trying to figure out how people manage their minors, in Dynasty mode..
cybernetic
I manage the games cuz the CPU doesn't know how to handle the bullpen.. they leave guys in there for weeks and never use them. I just sit guys based on performance or stamina. And I generally move guys up with injuries.. unless someone is absolutely terrible at a level they dont go down. JP_Frost
I don't spend too much on my minor league teams, I just keep an eye on my top prospects to see how they're doing and if they're ready for the next level.
cybernetic
The problem I have is when too many pitchers get injured in my system (or position players) and I have to move guys up sooner than expected. Which causes the A ball team to be really depleted.. making me have to sign guys from the FA pool to fill their spots.
UncleMo
I try to do as little as possible to manage the minors unless it deals with 3 to 5 star players. I move players up dependent upon their ratings and stats. Anyone needing a contract over 1 million that I know will enver make it to the show will easily be traded as soon as possible for someone who is already signed to another team for less money and more years. Keep it simple. Anyone with a high rating in plate discipline gets to start, and anyone with a low number gets to sit.
