Ahhh, so im goin with old school madden for the snes. Damn, they should update the graphics fo that, and Ima go out and plop $50 for that. So, I am guessing PC would be considered current gen, right?

what is the HOF Mode glitch?

officially, EA says it's not a glitch but how they designed the game.

unofficially, i think it sucks balls.

on the 360 version (don't know about the others), you have what's called a "madden gamer level". it's a point system that goes up as you do certain things throughout the game. as your gamer level goes up, you begin to unlock various hall of famers. these hall of famers are then thrown directly into the FA pool - so if you start a franchise, the hall of famers are available for anyone to sign.

so it's hard to have a "realistic" season when earl campbell and dick butkis all of a sudden show up mid-season. i have no problem with the hall of famers, but it's a horrible design to have them thrust into the FA pool - at least leave an option to not include them when starting a franchise or superstar mode. gg EA.

thats sounds horrible. i think the game is amazing though. i havent had madden since 2005 and i just got it yesterday for PS2. i played superstar mode from 1 to 11 that day. i have never played a game so long, its so addicting

Madden NFL 2007 on current gen is just fine. I see new things everyday it's much better than the 2006 version...

you are in the minority there kid... everybody even gamesites that review the games said its very minimal the changes... I played it and it felt like last year and it was not easy on the eyes after playing the much better 360 version

I contest that the graphics improvement with the DVD is a HUGE change. Lead Blocker is cool, and quite useful when the line is stacked, and you don't want the comp making a poor block for you. I wouldn't call it minimal changes, but it's like the year they added read and react defenses into the game, that amount of changes. Also the new gui for playmaykering is a really awesome feature that they added.

Looking at the graphics for pc, xbox, ps2 compared to 360 is like looking at first play stating graphics to genesis graphics...

What computer graphics card do you use & what is your processor speed. Also, how large is your computer monitor & in what resolution do you play? Also, how high do you have your AA & AF settings on your graphics card?

The reason I ask you all this is, because if you have a better graphics card & a better monitor & you play the game in 1280 x 1024 (I don't have the game so I don't know if you can play it in 1600 x 1200) then I highly doubt your graphics will look better on the xbox 360, considering that a current gen graphics card can wipe the 360 graphics hands down.

Play Madden 07 in 1280 x 1024 (or 1600 x 1200) with AA set at 8x & AF set at 16x on a 24 inch monitor with at least a pentium 4 running at least at 3.2 ghz & a GEForce 6800 ultra. Also make sure all computer ingame graphics are turned up the the max & tell me which looks better. That is what I am curious to know because those are my specs. If you have at least those specs (or better) I am genuinely curious to know which you think looks better. That or the xbox 360. Thanks.

In my estimation, the PC version is the best. The graphics are much clearer and defined, because of more pixels The game play is top notch also.

I take it you are not playing it a 1080i?

the 360 version looks a lot better than the PC version

Yep

With the PC version you are just stetching the textures to output at that high of a resolution

The xbox 360 textures are 2x & 4x (some are 2x others are 4x) that of the PC's version

Well I guess I'm a minority as well cause I think the game is improved in alot of areas. Is the game like 06? Yeah it is but very much improved, just like MVP baseball 2005 is the same game as MVP baseball 2003 and 2004 but with added additions.

I never played it on the 360 but I heard alot of not so good things about it.

I like it anyway. I have an xbox 360 but the PAL version isn't out yet while my regular xbox can play NTSC... I have played Madden 06 on 360 and still i'll take the current gen version over it.

My Review on the game might be alittle too indepth for certain people. But if you like playing a game that's pretty much the same just a few new things added for 60$ it's a waste.

i mean it is the best game out for football. But that's only cause EA has the license and whatever.

anyway.

There's still tons of glitches for online play. Online play vs most of the people online get so annoying it's not even funny.

Anyway the Corner Backs in the game are terrible.

The Safety's are horrible, they can't catch an INT for nothing. they drop every pass.

The cut screens are alittle annoying after awhile, i wish there was a way to turn them off but for 360 there isn't.

PS2 version atleast lets you change your controller layout to the 2005 scheme... 360... NO CHANCE.

the defense controlls to audible/ and setup your defense is terrible in my opinion.

the Corner Routes are back in this yrs game and you can completely destroy people with them cause the CBs are getting blow out.

Im a giants fan and even i can say.... THE GIANTS ARE SO OVERRATED in this game it's not even funny.

Also the fumble Ratio is Rediculous, expect to fumble atleast 2-5 times a game. 4 out of 10 carries with tikki were fumbles.. idn to me that's not realistic.

THINGS I LIKE.. not many but...... the graphics are nice... alot of nice tackle animations... and the kicking meter is ok... it's alot easy to make a kick.. which isn't always good, i like a challenge.

ANYWAY that's what i have to say about the game.
