NY_Yankees Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 First off, I hate their stadium in the game. Is there any mod out there that changes it to another stadium? Probably not... Anyways... I'm going to start a dynasty with them. Where do they need improvement the most? I usually keep restarting the dynasty until there are a few good prospects in the FA pool, or 1 REALLY good one. Then they've got lots of 1y @ 100k pitchers who can easily bring back top talent if traded with some AA player. I forget the trades, but just testing I was able to acquire Verlander and Weaver from trading AAA and AA pitchers (UR7 rosters). I guess I'm looking to trade some pitchers for cheap young talent to help out in other spots. Maybe a solid closer, a bat, whatever. Players that can easily be aquired that break out in 1-2 years. Just rename any stadium you like to propday.big (day version) and propnite.big (night version). That will let the Marlins play in a new stadium. That will let the Marlins play in a new stadium. I was thinking about trying that sometime. Didn't see any reason it wouldn't work. How does it work though, when you have a team that plays in a dome? Tampa Bay, Minnesota? If you rename another stadium to theirs, will you only get one time of day? Or can you create a 2nd so that there are two time slots? You would have to select load custom stadium(or whatever it says) and load the owner mode stadium. I agree i HATE their stadium. Isnt it just a football stadium converted for when the Marlins play? And about what the team needs, they are a really young team with some very good young pitchers so maybe some experience in the starting rotation? Maybe the bullpen?
