Jerryluo
I had the FOX Overlay Music, but now I can't hear it anymore. I think it's because I downloaded a datafile. How can I hear the music again?
JoeyMcM93
Take the datafile out or modify it yourself.
big shmooz
First of all, to make sure the datafile is indeed the issue try deleting the datafile temporarily to your recycle bin (you can always recover it later on). Try playing the game & see if your music comes back. If it does, then you know it was indeed the datafile causing this. Recover the datafile from the recycle bin & you will have to edit the datafile. The way to do this is to download a program called DFCompUtil. You will be able to find this in the downloads section here on mvp mods. You then need to read the insturctions on how to use it. It's pretty easy to figure out. Then you will go to here... 0x7c9e6865 127<test> When you search for this place in the datafileedit.txt go to number 5. You will need to change that number from 0.0 to 1.0. Thats it. It is not complicated. It may seem to be so right now, but once you read the readme you will understand it pretty well. Hope this helps. P.S. Welcome to the site.
Jerryluo
Yeah, it is the datafile causing the trouble. I searched for DCompUtil in the downloads section but it came up empty. What section is the download in?
