heathd521
I just finished a game and in my MVP Inbox there was a message saying that Hideki Matsui has been complaining about his playing time and it is affecting the team. Now, Matsui has started and played every inning of every game so far in my season (now at 57 games) except for when he went on the DL for 15 days with a hamstring injury I believe it was. How could he be unhappy with his playing time if he plays every inning of every game?
cybernetic
He wants to bat higher in the order probably. Last season I had Orlando Hudson and he was batting near the bottom of the order almost the entire year and he was complaining about playing time and figured out that he did want to be put up higher in the order so I tried him batting 2nd for a while. heathd521
He wants to bat higher in the order probably. Here's my lineup: 1. Damon 2. Jeter 3. A-Rod (having a monster season, hitting .353 with 30 homers already) 4. Giambi (batting .387) 5. Matsui 6. Lance Berkman 7. Posada 8. Cano 9. Alfonso Soriano where should i move him? i think the lineup is perfect the way it's set up now.

cazcryy
If he's a number 5 hitter, then i dont think its the batting order he's complaining about. That happened to me once as well, when I played about 90 games and Javy Lopez was the starting catcher about 87 or 88 games, and then he went on the 15-day DL with a 15 day injury. Right after he comes back he complains aobut his playing time. In another thread, someone said it may be because of too much playing time, but I dont think thats the issue there
alcoholicstepfather
He probably has a MLB Indespincible contract. The time that he spent on the DL cut into his playing time and that's why he's upset. The only thing that you could do to satisfy him is to re-sign him to a MLB situational contract, or just listen to him complain.
heathd521
Okay, I'm just keeping Matsui where he is, and I'll just let him keep complaining.
