rom3
Does anyone know what variable I need to look for and edit in the datafile.txt to increase the number of home runs? I am using Rodkeys datefile 7 with Power turned up to max - 50 for both teams. Homers are way down. At the current pace, the league leader in home runs in my dynasty will finish the season with only 30. Rodkey's datafile 7 is excellent in every area with the exception of the difficulty in hitting homers. It provides very challenging games on All-Star level. I am familiar with the process of editing the datafile at Snepp's tutorial page. I just don't know which variable to change for homers. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
Wolverineman
I am using Rodkeys datefile 7 with Power turned up to max - 50 for both teams. While I don't know anything about the datafile, do you actually mean you have the Power at - 50? If so, thats the bottom, and +50 is the top(as far as I know, and the adjustments I've made seem to make me think its correct). If you just mistyped or meant +50, then ignore me. I have power for myself at +5 and CPU at like +25 with RRodkey 7 and on All-star and I'm hitting almost too many homers, I have to make myself try to hit doubles and such instead of holding up so I hit homeruns. I end up with a good amount of homeruns for my liking.
