what are the best pc video card settings for sports games like madden, nba live, and mvp baseball ( nvsync, double & triple buffering, mipmapping, antialiasing, anistropic filtering, etc)? i have a athlon 64 3400+ cpu, a 1280x1024 lcd monitor, 1gb pc-3200 memory, and a bfg geforce 6800gt video card. i think the performance won't be a problem, but i mainly want the best video quality i can get

Well I have an Athlon 64 3200+, 512MB Ram (Just had a stick go bad) and a Geforce 6200 and I can run MVP and Madden with everything on High and get no stuttering in Madden and only a little stutter in MVP when the ball is around first base.

I have an AMD Athlon 64 3800 with 1 Gig of RAM and an ATI XL800 graphics card and I run all of the EA sports games at maximum resolution with all settings set to high. I also went into the control panel for my graphics card and set all of the features to high as well and everything works great that way for me.

Oh cool another cards fan on here Hi yukon2k :D

I run a Radeon 9250 256MB a 2.60 GHz processor and 512 Ram I have no problems at all running MVP, Madden and Elder Scrolls III.........but the wierd thing is when I try to play cheap 2D games like Supspace aka Continuum My frame rate is really low and makes playing it unplayable it lags that bad :(

So I wish I could give you tips yukon but I have problems of my own and I don't think I would be much help

I'd really appreciate a little help on this matter as well, hasn't really been answered yet.

Athlon 64 3500+

ATI Radeon PCIx x1300

1GB RAM

Games like Half Life 2, F.E.A.R, NHL 07 run excellent on the highest settings, yet MVP 2005 cannot be run @ 1024x768, 800x600 is the best I can do with the game being functional. Even with it on 800x600, the frame rate I think it is, is awful in situations like throws from the outfield. The ball "stutters" en route to its destination and I just can't accept the idea that MVP 2005 is too graphics intensive for my setup, relative to these other games I've mentioned.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you guys!

Did you ever install the latest patch? EA Sports Patch 3? That dramatically improves stuttering in the game.

Do you know if the EASports patch is included in the MVP 07 mod? I am having stuttering problems with it and the patch won't patch b/c the 07 mod install is missing a file that it's looking for. ty
