rediculously easy to be honest, that is why I aborted mission re: hex editing. But one thing, you must do EXACTLY what this says because the first time I did it I did one thing different (did not overwrite the original files and used a different .bat (mine was worded differently to convert the files instead of using the wording give to me by 69Yanks).

This is what I did to change the stadium opening.

1. Create a folder and place sx.exe, Eagraph.exe in it. You do not have have EAgraph in the folder but I do it for ease.

2. back up the stdnmdat.big in audio/cd/spchpbp/stadmndat.big

3. use eagraph.exe to open stadmnbat.big and then export 26a and 26b to the folder you created.

4. create the .bat file to unpack the 26a.bat and 26b.bat into wav

Notepad sx -wave -.wav *.dat

Save as dat to wav.bat or whatever you want to name it

5. double click on the .bat and it will create the 26 a and 6b wav files

6. Edit the wav to your liking.

7 repack the wav to a dat by creating another .bat file

notepad sx -sndstream -.dat *.wav

8. save it as wav to bat.bat

9. Double click on the this .bat and you will have overwritten the 26a.dat and 26b.bat files in the folder

10 Use EAgraph.exe to import each back into the stdnmbat.big file

Have fun was part of the instructions. Also, the first time I tried this I forgot to have fun so it did not work because of that lol.

RaptorQuiz, thank you for going out of your way. Really, thank you. Hopefully my lite version of that generic face mod is payback, atleast a bit.

So if anyone is looking into doing audiomodding, they should see if the files they want to change can be opened with EAGE, and if so, see if .dat files are inside and go at it. Mod your heart out.
