D-Unit
I know there are a lot of threads regarding this, but I cannot find anything in particular to help me out. I just downloaded FRAPS about a half hour ago to try and record some in-game movies for MVP. I am trying to make one right now but I am having trouble. I set the video capture button to F9, so when I want to take my video, I press F9 and when I am ready to end it, I press f9 again, and the file shows up in AVI format and I play it on RealPlayer. But it is in extreme slow motion, and only lasts a little bit. Does anyone who uses this program regularly know how to make it work properly? JoeRudi26
Import the movie to Windows Movie Maker (if you have it) and then speed it up double. It comes out perfect for me.
D-Unit
Good idea JR. I don' think I have Windows Movie Maker (I might), but on RealPlayer I can play double speed if I want.
DustinTheWin
if you saw my video, you can record the video at half size so it records faster, you can do this by changing the fraps settings
DustinTheWin
and also dunit if you want i can post the .wmv file of that movie i made, it is like 22 mbs but the quality of it is much better than the youtube
D-Unit
I still have a problem because it is slow while I am actually recording it. When I record, the game moves slow.
DustinTheWin
yea, set your fraps to record at half size and if that doesn't work your computer just might be too slow
D-Unit
yeah I guess that's the problem. I just thought of using it because I hit a MASSIVE upper deck shot with Johnny Damon in an exhibition game. It was maybe 15-20 rows up too. abc006
Um piston...The ball doesn't even go over the Green Monster in your replay...No, there's this weird white thing that looks like a ball, but's really... something else. The ball is smaller, and I think it does go over the monster.
