KerryW
For some reason, my game isn't loading anymore.. CD2 is in the drive and I start the game. The loading title screen with the blue bar shortly appears, but freezes when the bar finally begins to move....anyone have any clue what the problem could be?? and no, I didn't install any mods recently.. Dead_Monkey_Z
Have you installed any new media players (Winamp, ect.) lately? I had the exact same problem with Madden 2004 and it turns out that the Winamp I installed caused a problem with the music files the game used. Try reinstalling the game or setting your media file back to their defaults. If that doesn't work check EA's support page. EA Tech Support I'm bored so I'll dig through the site for a bit. If I find anything I'll let you know.
KerryW
I installed the newest Nvidia drivers...that's all I could think of. Well, now I am having another issue...I reintalled the game and I want to install Patch 3. (and yes, the game STILL wont load) However, I am getting an error message saying: Insufficient Storage Space to Apply Patch- You need at least ***** bytes free... ....even though I have at least 10 gigs of space on my HD... Dead_Monkey_Z
I can't help you with any patch 3 problems(never installed it) but your "insufficient storage space" problem is definitly weird. You didn't put the mods you were using back in the game before trying to apply the patch 3 did you?

Dead_Monkey_Z
You don't have any Virtual drives running do you? Sometimes Xp won't pick up the space being used by it resulting in you not knowing EXACTLY how much room you have left on your HD.
KerryW
THAT JUST MAY BE IT!!!! I DO have 1 running. Hold on a minute, I'll see if that's what's causing the problem...... Edit- I turned it off, but it doesn't fix the problem. I contacted EA tech support, so I guess I'll know what the problem is for sure in a couple of months... ;)
KerryW
UPDATE- I fixed the Patch 3 issue, but the game STILL won't load......... It turned out that I didn't actually "uninstall" the game, but I only deleted the game folder...So I used that actual Uninstaller before reinstalling the game again.... still, this ultimately solves NOTHING..
KerryW
YESSSSSSSSS....I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!! I turned out that the newst Forceware drivers, the 62.20's, were responsible for this...I download ones a little older and it fixed the problem...
