TheProdigy
I would put Andruw in Center, he's a gold glover, and I would put Taveras in Right, I'm following :yeah: good luck.
KillerBs
I have Jones in RF because of his arm. ---------------------------------------- April 6th Game 2 HOU @ STL Starters: Oswalt & Carpenter Final Score: HOU 7 STL 4 Manager's Take: Newly acquired Jones took advantage of the short left field porch in Minute Maid Park. Oswalt didn't have his best stuff out there today, but the offense helped him get a win. Carpenter wasn't as sharp as he usually is. Backe looked great. Hernandez did great but infield singles and a blooper loaded the bases, thankfully he got out of that. Ausmus had a triple and scored on Griffey Jr.'s misplay. Bagwell and Berkman are hitting the ball hard everytime up, but not always in the right spot! Joe Mauer of the Twins has suffered major wrist tendonitis and will be out for at least 19 days. The Manager of the Astros is considering taking playing time away from Morgan Ensberg, due to his 2 errors in as many games. Both errors were throws wide of 1st base. There are currently only 3 players on the trading block, RP Jake Brito, RF Todd Linden, and Joe Foster, all of the AA Navigators. ----------------------------------------

D-Unit
Congrats on the perfecto with Clemens, good thing he signed for one more year. lol. I think you should put Taveras in left because he has a horrible arm and since left field is so small you are better off putting him there. KillerBs
Yeah but my only other choice for outfield is Berkman, who is very slow. They didn't do a great job with ratings in the game. In real life Taveras has a killer arm. One thing that ticked me off is Adam Everett's fielding, in real life he is an amazing fielder, probably better than Omar Vizquel. (Everett has 4 E this season.) More games, standings, minor league update, and individual player statistics coming soon.

After solo home runs by Bagwell, Jones, Berkman, Ensberg, and 2 from Ausmus, it came down to the 9th. Being 6 to 2 the Manager decided to put in newly acquired prospect, Chris Young. Young let up 4 runs, tying the game, but was able to get out of the inning without the Braves taking a lead. After singles by Palmeiro (pinch hitting for Young) and Taveras, Jones drove in the winning run with a 2 out single. Manager's Take: Pettitte was very strong tonight, but didn't get a win. Young looked good but nervous in his first game. Congratulations to him on getting his first big league win. Astros Pitching: A. Pettitte: 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 9 SO, 1 HR, 1 HB C. In the 9th, it was 4 - 2 St. Louis, but back to back home runs from Bagwell and Jones gave the Astros the lead. However because of an error, the Cardinals tied it up. In the 11th, bases loaded, 0 outs, Wheeler gets a pop-up and then a K, then tosses a fat one down the middle for Larry Walker to hit past the center field wall. Manager's Take: We lost due to 4 errors, which shouldn't happen, we are in the major leagues not high school! The umpires blew 3 calls in the game, the last of which I got thrown out arguing. This was just one of those games. Astros Pitching: R. Clemens: 6 1/3 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 3 SO, 1 HR R. Springer: 2/3 IP, 2 H, 0 R C. Young: 2/3 IP, 2 H, 0 R B. With a runner on 1st and 2nd, Palmeiro lined out to short, rally killed. Manager's Take: You just hate to lose games like this. Oswalt was strong yet again, but Mulder was just amazing. Qualls did give up a home run on his first pitch, but not a single run after that, which is a good sign. Astros Pitching: R. Oswalt: (L, 2-1) 6 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 SO, 1 HR C. The Mudcats announced that Ned Barnes sustained a strained ribcage and will be back in 10 days. MLB Injury!!! Matt Holliday of the Rockies has sustained a strained ribcage and won't be back for at least 12 days. NL Central Update: With the last 3 games ending in losses, the Astros are now 3 games behind the surging Brewers, who are 14 and 3. Behind Houston are the Cardinals who are 8 and 8. After that it is the Pirates who are 8 and 10. Chicago is 7 and 11 and 7.5 back. In last place are the Cincinati Reds, who are, despite having a strong team, 2 and 15. Manager's Notes: This is starting to look like it is going to be one strange season. The Brewers can't seem to be beaten. On the other end of the spectrum, the Reds can't seem to get a win, and there really is no explanation. ---------------------------------------- Ugh, that game sucked, and I can't figure out whats with the Brewers or the Reds. Oh well. I've been playing this game since it came out, I'm not used to losing 3 games in a row, this sucks lol.
