Rosters question...

Hey guys,

Are there any rosters out there with lineups and portraits all updated? I have UR 7.45 and it's fantastic! However, the lineups all need some tweaking (AAA to MLB transfers, rotations, batting orders, etc.) I have absolutely NO problem adjusting things myself. Please don't get me wrong and assume that I'm being lazy or ungrateful for the Ultimate Rosters. I was just wondering if someone had already taken the time to do this stuff so I didn't do it all for nothing.

Thanks, guys.

P.S. Also, I know this doesn't go here, but how the heck do I change my email address on the site so replies go to another address? Can't seem to get the my account settings to let me do that!

I always thought Totte did a great job with the lineups and rotations. They change all the time during the season, but he does a good job of setting the most frequent lineups, which is how it should be. It can't be perfect, especially with it being September and many rookies or cup of tea players are getting a chance to play. I think you'll have to tweak them yourself to how you like it.

When my roster comes out, it'll be much of the same; lineups are impossible to have 100% correct. It doesn;t get much better than how UR has it, in my opinion.

Hey KG,

Yeah, the work done on UR is great as far as getting the right guys on the right teams. But, on the Yanks for example, Matsui and Sheffield have been out since about June and Melky Cabrera is on the AAA roster along with other people who've been in the Yankees bullpen and starting lineup for months. Anyway, it doesn't matter. At least these things can be easily changed. I was just asking, not complaining.

That's to prevent having to release another update when players like Sheffield and Matsui come back from the DL. It saves Totte work.

Oh, I know. That's cool. Every roster creator has his own set of rules for how he goes about dealing with situations like that. With Matsui gone for the rest of the season, I would have taken him out. But, youre right, better to have rosters that are consistent with the first few weeks than just all last minute changes. Cause if you did it that way, you'd have Ortiz not playing for Boston right now. And that's just dumb!
