How to Make a Sweet backgroung using GIMP

Ok, first off get some brushes at deviant art. I will use sparkle brushes and grunge brushes. There is a tut about how to put them in in one of the links I have at the 1st post of this thread.

Next, open a 400x100 new document in GIMP. Make sure that it is white.

Select the grunge brush color that you want your backgroung to be. I will be using blue.

Next, color your whole white background with your types of grunge brushes that you have.

Now, get your logo from Chris Creamer's sports logos page (If you want to use a logo). I picked the World Series logo. Copy and Paste it to your Background.

Now get your grunge brush and brush in the white spots where you pasted your logo. Next, select your sparkle brush. Select the color you want it to be. Play around with the brush and see what you can came up with.

The finish product should look loke this when you make it a sig:

Hope you enjoyed and hope it was helpful!
