xiberger
This one is adressed to Trues, but anyone who knows how to fix this is invited to answer. Ok, here it goes: How can I remove the "Baseball America 100 Top Prospects" icon from an overlay? Thanks in advance! xiberger
tebjr
In MVPedit, remove the top prospect status for the player.
xiberger
Yeah, that would be an option, but I'd rather like an in-game solution. Thanks anyway for the quick response, tebjr!
krawhitham
edit ingameov.fsh in igonly.big. The image inside ingameov.fsh you are looking for is called "bath" just change the alpha to all black
xiberger
Thank you, kraw! btw, is there actually something MVP-related you don't know?!
xiberger
Ok, I've run into a little problem here. After changing the alpha to all black, this is what I get in the game:
krawhitham
an all black alpha should make it a clear image anyway it looks like the overlay .fel would been to be edited search for BATH in the .fel files, when you find it change the 1st "1" in the line containing BATH to at "0" that should turn off the graphic
xiberger
I couldn't find an entry for "bath" in fes_ingameoverlay.fel, but there are some in fes_playerinfobar.fel and fes_playerinfobar2.fel. I'll try them and see if it works.
xiberger
Phew, for a second my heart stopped! After making the changes and importing the updated ingame.big into the game, I got a run-time error when trying to play a game. So I went back to my backup file, but the error remained. Even after restarting the computer it kept crashing. So I went back to EA's original overlay, which finally did the trick. Now everything is working again, but I'm finished tinkering with .fel files... Believe me!!! :?
