I myself sit them if theyre at about 80%-85%. Is that bad? Or is it ok to let them play until about 70%-75%? Really need help with this one cuz I hve suspiscion Im sitting guys down too early, just need to know what you guy all do.

lyon810
Ya but its less realistic that way.
GoldGlove
I usually bench them, when their stamina is around 70%.
lyon810
Do you notice a drop in their play or anything?
BigFreelFan
Depends on the player. Play Griffey too far into his durability, and he gets hurt. Trust me, the Reds need his pop. Others, you can afford to let drop. 70-75, I would say.
JuUaAn
I usually sit them when they're below 50%. In the 50s, I try to DH them if possible so they decay slower. Probably higher chance of injury when fatigued. Now for pitchers it's a different story. I yank em below 30%. Anything in the 10s and 20s and you get injured extremely easily throwing curveballs and stuff with lots of movement.
kgbaseball
Anything below 90 is benching territory for me. I like to have everyone on my roster get into as many games as possible. Catchers are the only exception. They can go to around 50.
Mezza76
50-60%. Pitchers around the same. Also depends on the game and what their replacement is like. In some of my minor league teams I dont worry about it as much...alsthough i tend to never let it get below 30%
AcousticNut
For me, the 80% mark is the benchmark. Anything below 80% and they're benched for that game. 80-85, I'll consider based on how many other players are in the same range.
mrmariner
I bench my at 80%. If you did take a position player down into the 50's would 1 day rest bring him back to 100?
philliesphan18
FOr me I benck at 70 to 75 %.
rolliefingers08
under 80... i look at the schedule, see if there's an off day... weak pitcher... etc. depends on the situation and also who the player is.
JuUaAn
I bench my at 80%. If you did take a position player down into the 50's would 1 day rest bring him back to 100? If you're just below 50%, 1 day rest would bring him back to about 75%.
closetogenius
position players 75-70, depending on when the next day off is catchers 80, i use the astros and in r.l. ausmus only does four games in a row to keep his legs in good condition. pitchers 30, unless a no hitter is going or shut out, then they go til either is broken; unless they have low durability <65 at 70-75 positon players should hit 100 after a day
