fuzzone
wow..a Q.. I never noticed that before. Maybe it's because I been rushing through things. The years have flown by between you and me and yet, only now do I feel like i'm getting to meet you for the first time all over again. Nice to meet you SQ I'm assuming changing the image to 24 bit solved the problem for the Dodgers? "Wars start, Wars End. Battlefields soaked in Blood. Socialism, Democracy. Word hunger, poverty. bgyanks
Fuzz, I finally got around to a full fledge trial of "THE EDITOR"... Its amazing...could not have imagined it any easier...the readme file isn't even necessary...YOU THE MAN All Uni modders, for the sanity of most, please include all relevant files so that uniforms can be added easily One side request/question...has anyone figured out how to add the text above the menu profile example: 1927 Home (yankees) Been looking for a while with no luck :banghead: Keep up the good work Fuzz BGYANKS
fuzzone
hey bgyanks, what's going on bro. No luck looking at that. I think the information for that might be stored in another file that goes something like this u011a New York Yankees Home i dunno. Looking for something along those lines. The top has to read which uniform letter it is so im assuming it might be in another file alltogether. I found away around it. I'll show you soon, enough i'm planning on releasing a uniform or two in the next couple of the days nomore the adult uncensored ones though :(

DRaysGoRocco
I'm having a problem using the program. After I've encoded a team, and the option to "Display Jerseys" is available. I click it and this error pops up: run-time error '68': Device Unavailable am I doing something wrong?

I extracted it into a folder called "Uni". Maybe this will help, My OS is on my F Drive, not the C Drive (disconnected). Although I doubt that is the reason. Thanks for the help. fuzzone
yup that is the reason. In my code, i have it search for C drive. hmm..something to fix in the update. sorry it doesn't work for you. This is the first time i've heard of this problem. You can change the drive letter to C though. There's a way, I'm in bit of a rush but check yahoo or google and do search on changing drive letters. It's not hard at all.

carter
hey golden... there is only so much that we, as modders can write in a readme. we are not authors nor teachers. i find writing readme files difficult because you never know how much or how little to write. however, modding a game is a difficult task so i tend to assume that those people downloading my work already have more than basic computer knowledge. in defense of fuzz, he should not have to define things like BMP. knowledge of that should be a given. if you ever want to find out more about computer related terms try doing a search in the google newsgroups or even on yahoo. anyhow, to answer your question, BMP stands for bitmap and it's a type of graphics file that has been around since the days of windows 3.1. carter hey FUZZONE what the hell is a BMP file and how do i get one and what do i do with it? fuzzone
reminds me of quite a nice story of my younger years in high school. There once was this guy, we called him twiz. It's pretty weird how one post can bring this back. But this guy was a real perv. A horny kind of being. Every day he use to go over my friend frankies house and steal his porn. So frankie would call me up and say, You believe this perv..i bet he's twizzin all over his room right now. So one day, frankie gets angry that twiz steals his pamela anderson playboy issue and he goes over to twiz's house and twiz's mom lets him in. So frankie heads for the bedroom and he barges right in and twiz immediately starts crying because the magazine is right in his hands and he starts saying things like, "i swear i wasn't stealing it. I was going to return it. I was borrowing it" and then he breaks down in to more tears and guilt and cries the whole way. The funny thing is, according to frankie, while twiz is breaking down crying about how he wasn't stealing it, he was borrowing it--TWIZ wasn't wearing any damn pants!! He's sittin there forgetting he never pulled up his damn pants. to make a long story semi-long, we started calling him BMP. Borrowing More Porn. The name stuck for a year or so, and then it was back to twiz. Wow..im glad i got that off my chest.
five
I have downloaded this, but haven't had a chance to use it. A few questions I have (in general) doesn't matter if I have to use the editor or not: 1) Is it possible to have a modded uni that works all the time. With the current unis they only work on the player that is selected. The ones in the background and such still have the ones that came with the game. 2) Is there a way to actually add new jersies to a team w/out replacing old ones? I know a few of the ones I have just replace the current ones. 3) When I opened up a few of the teams in the editor, the picture shows up as the original jersies, even though I know that it is a modded jersey. I am assuming that this is because the mod didn't update the selection screen picture, only the actual jersey. 4) How do I make it so that the modded jersey shows up in the editor?
fuzzone
1) never heard of that before. 2)yes you can add a jersey to a team without replacing it. 3) The modder did not update portraits. 4)read the readme file.
bgyanks
Hey fuzz, I think that for: 1)Modder didn't update the llod.bmp (ARI's didn't to start out but he fixed this with later versions)
fuzzone
bgyanks: um, i dont understand your last post one bit.lol..which modder? what llod.bmp?Ari's who? Later versions of what? please explain.
five
Hey fuzz, I think that for: 1)Modder didn't update the llod.bmp (ARI's didn't to start out but he fixed this with later versions) Yep I checked the releases that were causing me problems and it indeed was Ari releases.
bgyanks
fuzz, llod.bmp is a bmp within the uniform .fsh file (the bmp made up of all the other pictures...your 0000.bmp). If you do not change the images within this bmp to match your new uniforms the players in the backround are still wearing the old ones. The modder I was referring to was the one that created the uniforms that caused the problem. Ari is a person who has creatd a lot of unifroms. Later versions of his uniforms BGYANKS :p
