Maestro23
that makes no sense but thanks anyway From the README file: Do not ***** about how hard the pitching is, download a new datafile or live with it What is hard to understand about this? Come to the forums(as I did when I first found this site), run some keyword searches on "pitching meter", "pitching difficulty", etc.. and find the numerous posts discussing the datafile and pitching meter. goosejnr
like i said above "Guys I appologise. Just found it else where.... Please ignore this. Sorry for the inconvenience. ezdriver
Discounting the pitcher fatigue slider from within the game, I've often wondered if pitcher fatigue is an item that is also changable from within the datafile? The reason I ask is due to the fact that my pitcher "seems" to fatigue a bit quicker with the '06 mod without any slider change. Of course, that could just be me! But if the datafile is the culprit, I'd sure like to know, and of course, play around with the parameters that effects the green bar in the meter for this item. If this is a known point, please direct me. Thanks. ez
Gordo
But once you set your fatigue level that you want in the profile, what's the point of putting it in the datafile?
Sean12131982
I agree with whats in the read me file, if you dont like how hard the pitching is download something else. I personally have no problem with it; baseball is a game of reflex, so deal with it, or not. Just don't complain about it.
beezleb878
guy asks a question and so many people walk over him for it. Not a nice thing to do. Yea he could of searched but perhaps not everyone is as familiar with these type of things as you all. Anyways, im not making excuses for the guy but saying its foolish for jumping on someone for asking a question. While for many the game is easy to install and whatnot but lets face it. Its not a simple click and install thing and everything works fine. Not everyone is knowledgeable or even close to comfortable when it comes to overwriting files and whatnot. Just something to think about when you someone asks a question who may not think or know things like you do.

That's not the question....read before you write, ace. The question is "Is it tweakable from within the datafile?"
kaplerisking
Personally I enjoy the improved pitching difficulty, it makes it more realistic for me. Before I was pitching gems in every game (even on mvp difficulty), rarely giving up more than a run and almost never having to use any middle relief guys (which hurt the team chemistry because they then bitched about not being used). pdub
If you don't like the pitchmeters difficulty you can always use the pitch meter difficulty slider(increase for easier/bigger) and the pitcher control slider(increase for more control) to offset it until your pitching is at a level you like.
