Anybody else have this problem (hitting)?

Everytime I start a dynasty league (all-star, which I find harder than MVP for some reason), I start off with a couple games where I get 13-20 hits, lots of runs and get a couple of good wins. After a couple games though I start having a lot more trouble hitting. It's almost as if my right analog doesn't work anymore. I will push to go with a pitch away, or go to pull a high inside pitch and they are all just weak.

It's very strange because it happens everytime. I thought maybe I just focused better at the start, but I look at the replays and my timing is good. I'm using the 06' mod now but same happened with the original. I'm sure it must be my fault somehow, but anyone else have this problem?

Players go through hot and cold streaks. I've had it where a guy will go 1-15 at the plate, hitting nothing but weak stuff, then go on a 9-9 tear with 3 HR or something like that.

Team Chemistry has a lot to do with it to...the higher the chemistry, the better you'll do as a team.

I know exactly what your talking about!

I just lost 7 of 11. I was pissed because I wasn't getting the hits I usually get and I believed most of my swing timing was correct. Two factors came into play -

1. I was on a road trip

2. My players were fatigued, many in the 70/80's

I realised it had to be one or both of those factors. Why? I had a day off and I am now on a homestand. I just won two in a row, the last one being a very offensive game for me.

I also noticed that the swing timing n MVP is relative. What I mean is, even if you see a pitch and think your all over it, you might have swung too early. I was griping about this thinking the swing speed was too slow, AI bullshit, etc. Swinging a bit later than usual and not always using the right analog stick helped me a bit. I was asking questions like "How did the computer PULL an outside curve that was breaking away from the hitter to the CORNER for a homer?

So, when swinging at pitches I noticed there is a certain point where your swing will be faster than it normally is. The key for me is be patient. My worst games are the ones where I am not patient enough and I swing-while-aiming at almost any strike. By being patient, and using reaction more than anticipation I get more and better hits. My biggest problem is aiming for a pulled homerun before the pitch is even thrown. I've hit many this way, but I've way more bad hits this way that reulted in outs.

The same thing happens to me every time I start a Dynasty. For instance I have a fantasy draft with the Rockies. Coors field is usually a good place to hit in the first two I beat the Padres 9-3, and 7-5. Now I've lost 8 in a row and I haven't scored more than 3 runs in any of the games. My lineup is awesome:

1. SS Clint Barmes

2. RF Bobby Abreu

3. 1B Albert Pujols

4. CF Ken Griffey Jr.

5. LF Jay Payton

6. C Jorge Posada

7. 3B Melvin Mora

8. 2B Jorge Cantu

9. Pitcher

the only guys even hitting close to .300 are abreu at .278 and griffey at .264 which is ridiculous. I know what it feels like. and it's every dynasty is like this.

ive sorta noticed this too... i think one of my contributing factors in that i play on wireless controllers, and it seems to me that the closer the batteries are to dying, then more the sensitivity decreases...

i always seem to go on a 3-5 game losing streak at the begining of the season. I always struggle to have a hitter that has an average of more than .225 After that though i could go on a 10 game winning streak with no team challenging me.
