tinpanalley
Has anyone figured out a way to have both Classics and the 06 mod installed at the same time? I'd rather not have backups of both and accidentally screw up by erasing one or the other. Any suggestions?

stecropper
There is a Multi-Loader utility that can be found on this site as well as found at www.total-classics.com which I think provides the capability you are seeking.
GoldGlove
Although I can't find it anywhere in the downloads, I thought Kraw's current Multi Loader is for the MVP 06 Beta and up to TC5. So I wasn't sure, if it will work with the Final and TC6.

lajc01
Has anyone figured out a way to have both Classics and the 06 mod installed at the same time? I'd rather not have backups of both and accidentally screw up by erasing one or the other. Any suggestions? This is what I did. I copied my MVP Baseball folder onto my Desktop, renamed it Total Classics, put it back in the c:/Program Files/EA Sports folder, installed Total Classics 6 into the new Total Classics folder. After the installation, use the mvp.exe icon from the Total Classics folder to play Total Classics. Now they're both installed and I just click on the icon of whichever one I want to play. PJFlip
I Have both installed at the same time. In program files just make a copy of the mvp folder and install one with the 06 mod and the Classics mod over the other. And you can make a Shortcut icon for both on your desktop. tinpanalley
Yeah, ok. Might seem silly, but I was trying to avoid using up the harddrive space. And the confusion of which one I'm loading up when. I like the desktop technique but I'm a bit confused. I gotta read it again.
Edam
A suggestion for those with DVD burners: Since there are some mods that are best installed over a clean install of MVP, once you have that clean install, copy that folder to a blank DVD disk. Then it's just a matter of copying the clean install from the DVD to a new folder on your hard drive, then installing the mod to the new folder. It will save a little time and effort. tinpanalley
Wait a sec... isn't there going to be a problem with the My DocumentsMLB2005 folder? Won't both games want to operate out of that one folder? Therefore, the my documents folder won't know which install it's suppose to communicate with? Or am I completely off? tinpanalley
Yeah, abc... sorry to bust your chops, but the appropriate oxymoron would be "devil's angels". Hell's Angels isn't an oxymoron. And now, I feel it's only fair that I be given the "took the joke too far" award. Back to my post, any problems then with the mvp folder in my documents that stores rosters and saves?

Don't worry -- It works fine. Both installs use the configuration information stored in the My Documents MVP2005 folder. This means that your sliders, game options, etc. will be the same in both installations.
