tinpanalley
Am I correct in assuming that the big shmooz datafile is the only one that will work with Ultimate Rosters 8.0? Also, why are there different kinds of shmooz datafiles? I can't seem to understand which of them does what. Finally, is there a datafile that people use for greater simulation-type realism? The MVP 06 Final as it stands on its own is a little fast paced in my opinion. I mean, throws, hits, pitches, etc. The power of hitters is also out of control, and I'd prefer to change those fast swinging camera movements. Again, though if I'm only able to use shmooz' datafiles, I guess I can only have whatever his datafiles offer, right?
fred13
Its not a datafile, its a models.big file, the two things are seperate. The models.big contains uniforms and cyberfaces. The cyberfaces in all three are the same. One of the models.big has Umachine's uniforms, one has Moser's uniforms, and the other has the default uniforms (use the lite one if you want to use KCcitystar's uniforms). However in regards to UR 8.0. You will see there is two of those as well. The standard version is to be used if you are not using any of Big Shmooz's models.big. If you are using any of them, use the plus version of UR. To the last part of your post, that is where the datafile comes into play. There are many available on this site, try them out and find one you like. Hope this helps ;)
tinpanalley
Thanks fred, That does help. I now get the reason for the different versions and all the different names. So, in essence, I first need to decide which uniforms I want because that will dictate which UR I install, correct? I should read up on those different uniform sets first. Can I just copy in and overwrite the appropriate files to get UR Standard version if I end up choosing uniforms other than shmooz's?
fred13
no, u need to decide which uniforms you want so you can choose which models.big. For UR, u need plus if you install any models.big, standard if you're using the default models.big.
