MLB 06 uniform select crash

hi. ive intalled the 06 mod w/ a fresh install and kccitystar's 1.09 1x uni's to help w/ stuttering. However, in my yankee dynasty (and play now mode) whenever i play certain teams like the A's, Mets, Rangers, D-ray's (i think), the game crashes when i get to the uniform select screen. So basically, has anyone experienced this before and how can this be fixed? thx
