fred13
Hey, I'm having some problems with my computer or minitor, not sure which. When I turn my PC on it runs fine ofr about 30 mins to an hour but then all of a sudden the screen goes black. I'll turn my monitor off then on again, the screen will come up for a second then go back to black. After a bout 5 to 10 mins of turning my monitor off then on again, the screen comes back, only to do the same thing 15 mins later. Does anyone know what the problem is? Any help would be appreciated as I'm kind of helpless at my computer right now.
Fastflink2009
maybe overheating in the harddrive. Or your monitor is totally jacked up... If you have access on another computer, go to the monitor's website and look at some common problems. Hope this helps...
jogar84
I think it could be your monitor. Hook it up to another PC and see the results. Or check your surge protector (which often messes things up if it isnt replaced)
ronmexico
If I am understanding your problem then this should help... http://www.tufts.edu/tie/tci/pcpowermanagement/FAQ.html It might not be the solution, but I would check about your computers power saving options. DJEagles
I am thinking it is your power saving option...the settings may be screwed up...like your monitor is trying to power down when it isn't supposed too...
