Hi,

for the first time I tried to edit my MVP a bit latey and it worked out pretty well with the help of your tools.

But I'd like to know if theres someway to insert a self-made cameo into the game ?!

Does someone know a previously posted tutorial or could someone explain to me how to do it ?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate every answer

You can create a player and insert a portrait of yourself, if that's what you mean.

Welcome to MVPmods.com!

Inserting your very own character is acutally pretty easy. All you need to do is create a new player in MVPedit and then export the rosters into the game.

The tricky part is to get the full package for your created alter ego (portrait, cyberface, audio). But with a little help from the community, you might be able to get all these things done. Good luck!

no, i think he means like the player cameos as you load up the game. I'm not sure, and i dont think its been done before, but check with uncle mo. I remember him doing an updated loading video (it comes right after the cameos) and i would assume theyd be the same file type and what not, just different videos. He's your best bet with somethin like this... mo?

Wow, thanks to all of you, didnt assume I'd get quite as quick and as many replies like that.

Actually I was talking about those little player cameos that run prior to the intro video as jhath said, I am also going to try to import cyberfaces, but I didnt want to bother you with 2 questions at the same time ;) (Im sure I'll find a lot on that if I just try to look it up in here, but was too lazy to do it yet :D otherwise I'm going to ask you guys again, now I'm sure you'd help me out)

Would be cool if its possible somehow, I think I'll try to ask Kraw about it, but if its not possible thats ok too, might be even to complex from what I read out of your replies and as I just get going with "modding" (well, I just use the tools :p) it might be too tough for me

Its possible, and not very hard at all. I made a friend a Mets intro that was 2 minutes long. If I watch it all the way through, it crashes at the end, but if you skip it anytime before the end, it doesn't crash. I made a test one for NBA Live, it never crashes, maybe because its low quality or because its so short.

Some people have made videos that don't crash, others do crash. Its pretty random.

Check this program out. MJ_realm over at nba-live.com made it. You have to encode your video to AVI with the VP6 Simple Profile and uncompressed audio. Then you convert the file with the VP6 encoder below. Rename it to match an intro/cameo video, and your set.

EDIT - ****, the link doesn't work anymore.

Here's a interesting find

here is another program that does the same sorta thing

To install faces, why not take the short route and download an entire models.big from Big sHMOOZ.
