How to reduce Payroll?

Anyone know how reduce the payroll for this game, I want to start a new dynasty with the Yankees. But the Biggest payroll in the MLB needs to go.... I want to make it 13.1M.

you can have a REALLY bad year, and then they might take away from your budget at spring training... other than that, not sure.

Use mvpedit and ditch all the high price players before the season

I would love to use it, but that would take out all the fun away. Isn't there a file where you can edit these sort of things? Database? I would like the Yankees to have all these high players in there little tiny Payroll budget.

Kraw's right. MVPEdit is the way to go. Just adjust the player's salaries.

You might try my importer and exporter.

Run the exporter. Edit the org.dat that it creates with notepad.

Find the ,7 that is after NYY. Change the value after the ,7 to whatever you want your payroll to be. (131 = 13.1 Million). Save the file, then run the importer. Hopefully everything will work correctly.
