UncleMo
I could use some advice. I’ve got an offer for a player that is making like 16 million bucks roughly, maybe 15, maybe 17 whatever. Should I pay that kind of money for a dude if the other year his stats were like this below (I hope I got the numbers right). WOULD YOU WANT A PLAYER THAT HAS THIS KIND OF STATS ON YOUR TEAM??!!! Just wondering. Thanks for the advice. I want to make the right trades and have the right players on my team. UncleMo
LOL. So you guys would want this player on YOUR team???
Myztery
I would. I hate people saying that A-Rod didn't do good this year. Sure, for A-Rod, this was an off year, but this would be a career year for most people. I don't think that his salary should be an issue. It isn't like they're the ones spending the money anyways. If I was a GM with cash to spend, I'd be happy to take him off of the Yankees' hands.
TwentySeven
Who is this guy? He has really tremendous numbers. I bet he's one of those players who get it done, but are also really clutch, like Ortiz. Hows his fielding? Is he any good? what position is he? For a middle infielder, thats extremely good! UncleMo
No one. My thread was just to make a point that people actually would want A Rod on their team. My real dynasty is with the Braves and I haven't even been offered a trade yet.
D-Unit
The Yankees won't be offering him either. Maybe Albert Pujols would be fit for that deal, but no one else.
