GEOLINK
So I decided to start playing MVP 05 more than sim through the game. The gameplay is fine on 640x840 but the problem is the Graphics are too.... ummm how do you say it "Does make the Game Expriance good" now when I switch up to 800x600 it looks great. I can even switch up to 1024x2064 and it looks great. Problem is the gamespeed is kinda slow. Any1 know that can help me with this?
xiberger
My system isn't the best either, so I have to play on 800x600 (sometimes even 640x480) to avoid slow gameplay. There are some rules you should follow in order to keep the game as smooth as possible: 1.) Don't use 2x uniforms (try 2xlite or 1x instead)! 2.) Compress cram32.fsh in all stadium files. It will reduce the size of the files dramatically (~50%). 3.) Make sure there are not too many processes running in Windows when playing MVP (very important)!!! In fact, I myself followed the advice of a fellow member and installed my MVP on a seperate partition with nothing on it but Windows in its most basic form (no additional applications, no internet, no nothing). It sure helped me a lot, as my gameplay is pretty smooth right now. btw, what are your specs?
GEOLINK
How do you compress Cram32.fsh, where is that?
xiberger
Open the stadium file. Look for cram32.fsh. Extract it. Compress it with eazip. Import it. You're done.
GoldGlove
Can you download a "staduim folder" with compressed "cram.fsh"? Because I am too lazy to do this with all stadiums, and EAzip seems a little too complicted for me.
GoldGlove
OK, I really can't get along with EAzip/DOS. Is there any batch file, I could download, so all stadiums' "Cram32.fsh" files get compressed?
xiberger
I strongly doubt that compressing the cram32.fsh file in all stadium files can be accomplished with a batch file. However, maybe one of this site's great wizards (krawhitham, hory etc.) has a solution for this.
