GoldGlove
Hi, I already addressed this problem in the official issue thread, but didn't get an answer there. So the problem is, whenever I play at Fenway the game slows down. Everything's like in slow motion. I guess my computer can't handle the "high res" textures. So I tried to replace the Fenway files in the stadium folder with the originals from the CD, but that makes the game crash. Is there anything I can do? MagicHands8686
What files did you copy over from the MVP 2005 disks and where did you put them? Also I was never able to prove this because I never had the Fenway slowdown bug but you can give this a try it should resolve your issue, or at lest I think it will. But first you will need to reinstall the Fenway park mod. Open up your “System Properties†menu, if you don’t know how to do this first open up Windows Explorer, and then right click on “My Computerâ€, after that select properties and viola the “System Properties†window pops up. Now select the “Advanced†tab, then under the first of the three boxes titled Performance, Visual effects, processor scheduling etc etc etc… select “Settingsâ€. The Performance Options†menu should now popup; select the “Advanced†tab once again then in the bottom box called “Virtual memory†click on “Changeâ€. From here you can change your paging file size aka virtual memory, just remember to click “Set†to apply the changes and you’ll need to restart your computer before any changes take affect. PS: Anyone that is suffering from the Fenway Park crashing issue should take a look at this thread I started. http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=24433.html
