Mathies_dane
Ok so after end of the polls it has been decided that i am to start a reds dynasty....So here goes... Reds get new manager The Cincinnati reds have closed a deal with the young and talented Mathies Jensen to be thier new GM. Jensen will be comming into a ball club with loads of talent and i chance to make the NL playoffs. The Reds are in a mediocre at best division so they have a chance of making it. As far as the team and personel for this season goes nothing new yet. We wish Mr. Jensen the best of luck Robert Castellini Owner of the Cincinnati

Mathies_dane
Sorry to cubsfannfla but big Z didn't get the win..... Reds get opening day win behind HR by Junior In a game that was very boring the reds took the first win 2-1 behind a Ken Griffey JR. HR in the first inning and a Ryan Freel RBI single. Aaron Hareing went 7 innigs giving up 4 hits and 1 run. Dave Wheathers came on retired the side in the eight and then it was up to Eddie Guardado to get the save which he did. We hope for a better game the day after tomorrow. Video highlights from the game: Girffey Homers Nice defence by Royce Claton Nice double play in the ninth ps. Suggestions on where to upgrade are taken as i wanna this as interactive as posible. Mathies

Mathies_dane
Arroyo face off wirh Prior in the second game of the season After the opening day win the reds are looking to go up 2-0 on the Cubs early in the season. Newcommer to the reds Bronson Arroyo will face off with young gun Mark Prior in what will indeed be a good matchup. The reds are hoping for more offence than the first game. Here is the matchup on the mound with Arroyo's stats in the majors and the atributes of Mark Prior.
Mathies_dane
Reds Loose to better team The reds were helpless in the second game of the season when they faced off with the Chicago cubs. Even though the reds took the lead in the first inning from an Adam Dunn RBI single it was just to be answered back in the thrid when Cesar Izturis sacrificed for the tying run. It once agaÃn came to a pitching showdown and it wasn't until the sixth inning that the cubs took the defining lead. In which they scored 2 runs on a Ronny Cedeno inside the park HR. The reds never actually threanted from then on and the cubs could take the easy win. Here are some of the game high lights Adam Dunn RBI single Inside the park HR by Cedeno Micheal Barret in a rundown

Mathies_dane
Hot pirates comming to town. The pirates are 3-0 and they are looking to extend that run when they go to face off with the reds in a three game series. The reds on the other hand have been cold on offence and are looking to get going facing the week pitching of the pirates. Facing off in the first game is Ian Snell from PIT and Eric Milton for the reds.
Mathies_dane
Toothless Reds loose again The reds brought no offence to the ballpark today when they faced the Pirates. The pirates kept doing what they do best get runners on and get them home while the reds only got some scatered hits. It got even worse when SS R. Clayton was injured for 55 days his imidate replacement is Rich Aurilia. The reds also called up 3b Gary Patchett from AA.
Mathies_dane
Reds sign bat. The reds annouced today that Eli Marrero has been signed. The sign is a direct answer to the batting problems for the reds.
Mathies_dane
Reds try new lineup With the new lineup in place the reds look to bounce back with a win over the impressive Pirates. Eli Marrero will make his first start and will be looking to get on and help his new team early. Here are the new reds line up VS. RHP Phillips Valentin Griffey Dunn Hatteberg Aurilia Encarnacion Freel Pitcher VS LHP Freel Phillips Griffey Marrero Encarnacion Dunn Larue Aurilia Pitcher
Mathies_dane
New disapointment for the reds Once again the reds offence never showed up and PIT won 1-0. The reds new lineup made on error and had 7 hits. The reds still have two more games with the pirates before they go to Wrigley field. The first of the two games will play out tonight with Kyle Loshe taking on Shawn Chacon. So far in the central the reds are 3.5 GB of the pirates. The reds need a win other wise the heat will be on manger Jensen to make another move. New commer Eli Marrero was 1-4. Ps. I have gone away from the videos they are too much work expect screenshots from now on.
