kgbaseball
I like the A's big. Stewart throws a gem. Big Mac hits 2 dongs. Will Clark and that sweet swing of his goes 2-3. Rickey steals 1-2 bags. EDIT: It sucks you have to be the Giants. You'll probably end up winning then :)

Rickey steals 1-2 bags. Well you had the part about Stewart right - he was money until he hung a changeup to Mitchell. The only other hit by the Giants was by Williams in the ninth - a single. Fairly right about Clark as well - I miss watching him play. There were a lot of good defensive plays but I didn't snag pictures. I wish you were able to quick sim Classics games :- It's probably a good thing for me that they don't because I would have decided to simulate this. However, I'm glad that I'm playing them all through now - it's pretty fun going through the matchups. :D

sfgiantsflgators
The previous game (Braves/Cards) and the next game (Phils/Giants) were played last night while I was watching the series - as a result, my "picture-taking attention" wasn't up to par and therefore the recaps are lacking. Sorry. :headache: Also, I forgot to grab the boxscore from the second game - so it will be without the Players of the Game or boxscore link... :violin:

I haven't made the bracket for Pool 4 yet (which is the pool they're in) so nothing's official yet - but a quick calculation puts them up against the 1967 Red Sox. :D
TwentySeven
This is real good. I know a guy named John Smiley, so that last game was fun to read about. But, I'm just wondering, why are all these games extreme pitchers duels? I know these guys are all aces, but someone is goint to eventually get lit up... Since I'm playing the games, there are going to be groups that follow my ebbs and flows (i.e. the last few games as right now I can't hit for poop). Also, my sliders have always been geared towards pitching duels (guess that's the mind of a pitcher at work). If it gets to the point where it gets out of hand, I'll think about pushing the contact and power sliders up a tad. :D
