That game was clearly staged. ;)

According to Tim McCarver, Morris had what looked like poop on his pitching hand. Joe Buck was convinced it was pine tar, Sparky says it was dirt, but McCarver insists that it was poop. His basis for that knowledge was that "...poop always comes out of my mouth so I know it when I see it."

How do you argue with that logic? :D

Well, this game is going to be delayed. First it crashed after the first hitter - now it just crashed in the eighth inning. Different hitters, different situations...about the only thing common between the two is that the Padres were hitting.

Doubt it's anything Classics related as random crashes, in my experience anyway, are usually something else. The computer has been pretty well used today so maybe it just needs a rest. If I feel like it, I'll try it later tonight - otherwise it'll be tomorrow :D

EDIT: Guess it was something with the Ballpark at Arlington. I ended up playing it at Minute Maid Park (close enough to home field for Texas) and will post the results soon. :D

wow, this is really great! go '64 phils!

Same here! :muffy:

glad you are enjoying it guys! that '64 Phillies team, behind Jim Bunning, is a lot better than I thought they were. they've got a lot of speed through that lineup.

Wow, this is great two giants teams still in round 2, GO 62 Giants.

of course, i'm enjoying this aspect as well. but i don't think that the '89 team is gonna make it any further - that '91 twins team is pretty good.

This game should be very good. Good Luck!

Well, when I'm playing these games, I obviously try to be as neutral as possible (Vin Scully neutral - not Buck/McCarver neutral)...

...but damn that was a heartbreaker...results will be up soon :headache:
