Sometimes my PS2 pad won't work properly with it off. Your controller conf. looks fine. The only difference between your's and mine is the line "number_of_povs= 1". If my first solution doesn't work try changing the line to "number_of_povs= 0"

Viceman2004
both your solutions didnt seem to work. thanks for the help anyway. anyone else? perhaps its a matter of tweaking the controller.cfg...but i have no idea on how to do that! Dead_Monkey_Z
The only other thing I can think of is to do EA's way of using the PS2 pad. EA PS2 Fix It's what I used and I have had no problems. It's easier and involves no registry changes. Get it set up and I'll send you my control cfg.
Viceman2004
Yeah i tried that but it didnt work...the registyry thing that was outlined in the FAQ (radioshack) worked! thats the only problem im having now...so i figured its only a matter of re-mapping? :banghead:

Dead_Monkey_Z
One more thing, is your cpu reconizing the right analog? You can check by going to Start>Control Panel>Game Controllers>Properties. Z-axis and Z-rotation should move with any moves of the right analog.
