Can you add a portrait for Matt Garza? The one in his MLB hat.

Since the game is based for 05, the ages in the game are set back 2 years. In MVPEdit when I edit the roster, they're correct, but the game obviously doesn't. I could, however, global edit all the ages, but players with birthdays on leap years are off by 1 day. Maybe I'll change to the correct ages in the game in the future, but I don't know at this point.

I found in MVP05, a lot of the players ratings get ridiculous after years.

For example - Jeter kept getting better and fast until he was like 36.

2x: It's from when he was with Advanced A Fort Myers, but didn;t he have short hair when pitching for the Twins this year? I like this one a lot better than the long haired one.

Hmm, I'll look into things more.

Oh and why are the minor leaguers so fast? Some of them have ridiculous speeds. Like Alex Casilla has a speed of 94. (I think that's his name, not sure).

And also, when can I except 1.2? :D

Because he's fast? He's easily one of the fastest minor leaguers. I used the speed spreadsheet for many players, and he came out to be a 94. When you steal 50 bases, that's about right; maybe 2-3 points too high.

I just simmed a season, and Casilla stole 46 and 49 bases. How's that for accuracy? ;)

IMHO players are faster when they are younger. However, if the guy's ratings are inflated he will have to be modified.

Plus, a lot of time speed is all minor leaguers have as a tool, and eventually they fall off the map because of it. Speed kills, but only if you know how to use it.

Thanks! I'm using Ron Mexico's progression mod, so hopefully, a bunch of the 90+ minor leagues don't become 99 speed players within a year or two.

That's hard to overcome. My guess is that many players that do have 90+ speed will become 99. That's something to suggest to ron in his progression thread.

Here's a preview of the first Prospect team, and their new jerseys, created by fred13. Don't they look awesome? There's some minor adjustments to be made, but they look terrific already. The other team will have new jerseys as well, coming soon.

Umm, don't think I can do that because the stats progress the same, whether it be speed, contact, power, etc. Speeds will go up the same way as all the other stats.

If you could make him less chubbier, add a little facial hair, that would be good. Also, just wondering but what's your favorite team?

In many cases for rosters, the creator's team is way too good. Like for this Yankee Fan's rosters, Jeter was way too good. Speed at like 88, an amazing fielder, and one of the best hitters. He is good, but his fielding is average at best, hitting isn't as good as it was in the game, and he's not that fast. Just my opinion. :D

Jeter is way good. Also, if you are really maddened by these rosters, if I may chime in myself, edit them yourself, thats what I do. You can also wait till 2007 when these things will be resolved. Okay, my little op-ed piece is over.
