Foo4Everlong
PLEASE HELP! I have Kraw's Installer 1.5 or whatever, and it was the complete bomb. It worked great when I first downloaded it. But I have not played MVP06 nor installed programs for a little while, so when I went use Kraw's Installer recently I started receiving an error message. I used it for pretty much anything and everything regarding MVP 2005/MVP06. But like I said I just starting receiving an error message (called-NTVDM.EXE), and I did a search about the error and the search basically told me to try a registry scan as well as maybe other scans and it might help the issue. Unfortunately, I still have not been able to get the installer working nor get rid of the error message. It's soooo aggravating!!!! So anyways, as another option I also downloaded fuzzone's MVP 2006's Uniform Editor, and it's a GREAT program, the thing is, you need a bitmap file/photo of the uniform to complete the installation. And when you download uniform files from MVPmods.com, usually bitmaps do not come with the downloads. So that makes that program a little difficult if you don't have the bitmaps. It seems that fuzzone's program would be fine, but without the bitmaps it's very difficult. So what I am wondering is, are there any other easier ways to install uniforms into the game? Via EAGraphics Editor? Again, I can't get Kraw's Installer to work because of an error message. So, if someone could explain the whole bitmap thing with fuzzone's program or explain what the process is using the EAGraphics Editor it would be soooo GREATLY appreciated. Thanksso much, and sorry for such a long post.
Mav3rek
you can just use biggui to do it.
UncleMo
When you downloaded this program, what did you do with the files inside of it? You should have placed it in your main MVP folder is....did you do that?
Foo4Everlong
When you downloaded this program, what did you do with the files inside of it? You should have placed it in your main MVP folder is....did you do that? Do you mean Kraw's Installer? If that's the one you are talking about then yes, I extracted them to my MVP2005 folder. Like I said, I have used this program before with no issue, but just recently I started getting this error message, which basically keeps from inserting anything into the game. So what I need help with is installing stuff without using Kraw's Installer, and how do I go about that? Directions? Mav3rek, what do you mean by biggui? Can you just explain what to do further? Thanks so much. Later
Mav3rek
Big Gui, it's a program you can getHERE what you do is open up your models.big file in big gui. click on the jersey you want to replace go to edit->extract whatever jersey file you are going to replace (uXXX.fsh XXX = whatever one you choose) then open up your extracted fsh file in eagraph. import your jersey files as normal then go back to big gui and open up models.big for to edit->import and select the .fsh file you imported your images into then select the file you just imported and highlight it in big gui, and go to edit->compress and *presto* your done. that's for installing your own custom jerseys...if you downloaded a jersey file and have the .fsh for it already, all you have to do is open up models.big in big gui, and select edit->import and select the .fsh file you downloaded. and then scroll down in models.big in big gui and highlight the file you just imported and then edit->compress, and your done! Foo4Everlong
Mav3rek, perfect idea, and it sounded flawless to me but when I tried to run the game it crashed. I'm pretty sure I followed directions to a T. I'm NOT creating my own files, I'm using the .fsh files from previous programs from this site. And that's probably all I will use it for. After I compress the file that's it right? I don't have to do anything else with the models.big file or anything right? Thanks again for the bigGUI program, it seems like exactly what I needed. Now I just have to figure out this crash issue. Thanks. Later
Homer
have you tried upgrading kraw'w installer thingy or re-installing it? i'd recommend his install-everything program, but i'm not sure you'd want to mess with that. as far as the bitmap goes, it's simple. you need a picture of some sort. i usually use the picture of the front of the jerseys that i make. use photoshop, open a new document at 128x128 sq pixels, RGB color, and paste a copy of your picture on it. edit the picture however you want, except don't change the dimensions of the document. save it as a bmp. and then you're done. you can use MVPStudio. Later yeah, after you compress teh file that's it, it should work.it always has for me, and it's the same thing that kraw's installer thingy does...are you sure you compressed the file? after you compress it, it will tell you it's compressed in the bottom of the screen. it will say something like 1 of 1 files compressed

I do get that message, "1 of 1 files compressed", but for some reason when I try and run MVP2005 it crashes. Do any of the "Properties" settings for any of the files need to be set a certain way. Oh well, I'll keep trying and see what I get. I have run MVP with the regular models.big and it works fine, then I try putting in the new files, then it crashes. I'm perplexed! UncleMo
Not odd. I never use BIGGUI because of the compression issues. Intall with EAGE. Nor do ALOT of people. Do a search and you'll see how horrible that is. I only use biggui for a cuople of other files that never seem to crash.

If so, would you mind giving me the directions how to insert uniforms using the EA Graphics Editor assuming that is what you are talking about? Thanks much. Foo4Everlong
Vista? Kraw, I realized that I was using one of your older versions of the "Installer", hence it was giving me these error messages. I thought my computer was seriously messed up, but it ended up being a simple upgrade. Thank God! Then there was much rejoice. Thanks Kraw. Hey maybe you can help me....I am trying to install the "Sleeves" program but I can't seem to get it installed with the new MVP06 Mod. Do you have any suggestions. I really do like this mod as well as the players in the game having sleeves. HERE is the original download Thanks again Kraw. Later
