Rabbit4Heisman
I thought with the MVP06 mod being release I'd be all over it like a bum on a sandwich, but it had no effect on me. I have it modded like crazy but it's not fun for me anymore. I notice games overall aren't getting me wild up either. ;x Who still plays MVP a lot? Or who's like me and getting bored of it aswell? UncleMo
You sound like where I was. Put the game down for 2 months. Start a new dynasty. Do NOT come back 2 months later to play the same dynasty. Reinstall and put anything in the game that you have not tried yet. BOOM. You'll be back. Salivating. Homer
i got bored too. but i found learning how to mod and changing everything to the way i want it got me excited about the game again. now with the data importer, i can always make changes without interupting my dynasty. so i made an all-timers roster for myself, that also included many of today's players. it's a new feel. it's amazing how the m's look on paper! and with all the new projects that are coming up (ie mvp street and the next gen), it'll continue to keep me interested for the time being, until some company finally gets how to do a real baseball game. it's funny they haven't figured it out yet, but that's another thread. UncleMo
One Mo thing to add. When you give it a whirl later on, try keeping your menu music on default as well as those sounds in between innings. Like, I had the fox theme music installed, but now I don't. Feels like I have a new game.

xiberger
I've been modding this game 24-7 for almost a year, until I was finally happy with every little aspect of it. After that I was afraid I'd lose interest in the game, but what happened was that I'm more addicted to it now than ever. Bottom line, I'm still hooked on MVP and I'm enjoying every second of it. seanzarelli
I played 1 game of TC 6 about 2-3 weeks after it got released and before TC6 was released, I hadn't played it since May or June? This game has pretty much lost all appeal to me but I stick around the forums because I think some people like me, not sure though, lol.
DJEagles
I play off and on. I am pretty much playing NHL 07 in my spare time...but sneak the odd MVP game in once and awhile. I tend to lose interest when baseball season is over and hockey starts.

Yeah, I'm mostly playing NHL 07, but I still play MVP usually every week.(usually after I've play FIFA Street 2)
SwinginSoriano
Typically I play MVP from February - May, before baseball is really in motion. Pretty much I'm watching it instead of playing it as time goes on.
kgbaseball
I've been hooked on this game ever since it came out. I probably enjoy doing rosters/portraits more than playing, but I do like playing as many games as I can.

pdub
Changing the mods in the game, graphics, sound, stadiums, rosters, and datafiles(especially) keep the game fresh for me. Once you start to get bored, grab some new mods. Maybe even try a total conversion. Datafiles are the best because most of them have different cameras and a learning curve, which makes the game seem fresh and new.
krawhitham
this is the only game I play, I can not stand football, hockey, or soccer games. Madden is OK on the console but I never got into the PC version, maybe if it was modable. Does madden for the PC support widescreen? I need a good euchre game, I have not had one since XP came out (game would not run in XP)
pdub
Does madden for the PC support widescreen? From what I remember, it does. I really wish they supported it in NBA Live...
TribeFan4Eva
i was a ps2 guy and got tired of it b/c lack of modding....i bought the pc about a year ago and had it stuffed in my closet, totally forgot about it. once i took it out and found this site, ive been hooked. i constantly spend my time modding my game and trying new things... when i'm not doing that i'm playing my Indians dynasty.
